Battles Showcase ~ Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!
Hello everyone, long time no see. Yeah, I haven't faded away, was on a break that was unavoidable and so couldn't continue. Like every week, for this week's Social Media Challenge i have prepared some battles to showcase here and the moments that gave me the victory that worked for me and whats for you. These kinda engaging initiative should be called into action as soon as possible.
Let's go ahead with the battles one by one and discuss one them from my thoughts, waiting eagerly to learn from the others as well as these engaging initiatives are meant for this in real...
Battle - 1: No Limits
Ruleset: Deflection Field
- All units have the Reflection Shield ability.
The mana limit is at 99, so its time to bring out some of the giants in the lineup and I though of going with the mix of attacks. Went with two melee in the front as my summoner was giving two melee attacks to two of my summoners so took the best out of it. Then placed some heavyweight magic monsters to deal some real damage ignoring the armors if exists.
This fight was on and both the team faced some damage but my plans worked as expected and so i got the victory.
Battle - 2: Damage Back
Ruleset: Briar Patch
- All units receive the Thorns ability at the start of the battle.
- Enemy units that use melee attacks receive damage back.
Mana capped at 20 and all the monsters are getting thorns so I have planned to ignore melee and look for others, like magic instead, suitable for all the low mana battles. I took two no attack monsters and placed a weapon training monster in the middle to train the rest of the monsters with magic. Also, the left mana was used to broight another magic. My opponent did planned well as well to assume what i will come with and so brought the summoner that takes away 1 magic attacks and health.
The win was mine with a big margin.
Battle - 3: Master Plan
Ruleset: Aim True
- Melee and Ranged attacks will always hit their target.
- This applies to magic attacks even if the Phase ability is in play.
- This ruleset effectively grants all units the True Strike ability.
- Use Return Fire or Thorns to ensure that your opponent's units pay for their guaranteed hit.
This one was interesting. 38-mana battle, a standard size to fit in some big giants.
This one was fun as well, my one double striking monsters took 3 of them in one row. Each and every one was hand picked as I had went with the Possibilus that gives trample to all my monsters. As per plan my tank faced them all but from the back rest of the, covered it and call off with a hope.
