Battles Showcase ~ Splinterlands Social Media Challenge
Hello Splinterlands community, how are you all?
Here I am, once again to participate in this week's "Splinterlands Social Media Challenge" by Splinterlands. Got some battles to showcase and share a few thoughts, experiences, and my strategies that worked for me or not. These engaging initiatives are what makes the community active and filled resources to learn from. Looking forward to read from the other's experiences shared with the community.
Let's go ahead with the battles one by one...
Battle - 1: Sniping
Ruleset: Target Practice
- All ranged and magic units gain the Snipe ability.
As per the ruleset, both of us has chosen to go with the magic attacks as we will be getting snipe ability. And we did chosen the same summoner as well, OBSIDIAN that gives +1 magic attacks to all the friendly monsters. My opponent did bring a melee as the Tank and placed a taunt ability monster at the end of the line, he had his plans but mine worked like charm as well. I too went with a weapon training ability monster and trained two of my no attacks monster that I got with some less mana but good stat.
Guess what, my plan worked better and I got the victory just as expected.
Battle - 2: Flying Supremacy
Ruleset: Even Stevens
- Only units with even mana costs may be used.
- This rule does not apply to summoners.
This one is fun, like half of your units are gone, only the even ones are here for battles. Hahaha, see your luck like what type of cards are available to you for battles. Choose among them and prepare for the battlefield.
I went with a summoner that gives me +2 speed for two of my monsters whereas my opponent had chosen to reduce my armor stats by 2, fortunately only two of my monsters had armor out 6, lol. My plan was to attack first, as much as I can, I also went with the ranged cards too with ambush, thorns, and double strike. SO I planned for as much as damage I can deal to my opponent.
Watch the battle, it was insane, thanks to my flying ability that saved many attacks and was the reason for the victory. Good one!!
Battle - 3: Kill, Kill, and Kill Again.
Ruleset: Stampede
- Trample will retrigger infinitely as long as the trampling unit keeps killing other units.
- Prime use case for Summoner Possibilus the Wise.
As the ruleset says, Trample will be triggered as long as the trampling unit kills other units. So I had to go with the melee monsters and Possibilus summoner as it gives trample ability to the friendly monsters, a perfect ruleset to bring in this one.
The fun fact of this battle is seeing my monster attacking three times, four times in a row, hahaha. Killing at their peak. The mana limit was hugh too, 43!! So i had easily fir in some giants that did some massive damage and was really amazing to look at till the victory.
