Father's Day Special DIY| A key chain For My Father 👨

Hello Everyone!

Happy Father's Day to every Father in this world. Today, it's international father's day and i decided to create something special that i can present to my father. His smile is precious to me.

I always have tom and jerry like conversation with my papa. He always gives me special treatment among my siblings as you know girls are always special to their fathers.So, is the case with me.

I decided to make a key chain for my father so that he can use this keychain with his office keys.

Material

• Polymer Clay
• Acrylic Colors
• Chain
• Brush

At first, i took polymer clay which i bought from market especially for this DIY. From many days, i have been waiting for father day so that i can make this colorful thing.

I took a little portion of white clay and skin color clay. I thought to make face of my father. I just thought to make face of my father but then i thought that i should also add myself into keychain. Moreover, i should add some colors into by painting dress.

To make face, the initial step was to make round shapes with polymer clay. Polymer clay is a little wet and it was acting a little more weird and adhesive. I waited a little until it will loose little of it's adhesiveness.

After that, i put these two round shapes on white circled shape polymer clay.

The next step after making round shape faces is to add details of face and give some facial expressions on it. Before installing some facial expressions, i added hairs on the head of my papa 😂. He is looking handsome with these hairs. Well, he is always a handsome looking person.

I changed my decision and thought to add facial expressions after making dress of my father and mine.
Honestly speaking, the lady is looking like mother. I think i should call this chain a parents or family chain.

I painted blue color dress for my father. Blue color is favorite color of my father as he mostly wears this color. Although he never says explicitly that this color is his favorite but it is evident.

The next thing is to make and paint dress of lady( which is obviously me) but for someone other it's mother along with father.

Here's dress is done. Now it's time to make eyes, lips and nose!
Let's make them.

You know what funny i did? While i was adding some facial details on lady. I painted red color on cheeks of lady and it became very dark red. Then i added white color to reverse the effect of red color. It took my little more time.

The next step is to color the background. For the background, i took out yellow color from my acrylic color box.

Almost done ! Now it's time to take relief.

I made complete keychain and pinned chain into it. It became beautiful.
