Saludos y muy buenos días amigos Hivers y miembros de esta linda comunidad, espero que hayan amanecido todos muy bien y tengan un gran inicio de semana. El día de hoy estoy muy contenta por compartir con ustedes el cumpleaños de mi mamá el pasado 06 de Marzo.
Greetings and good morning Hivers friends and members of this beautiful community, I hope you all have had a great start of the week. Today I am very happy to share with you my mum's birthday on March 6th.
Fue un día muy agradable para mi mamá puesto que recibió muchos regalos y mensajes hermosos de sus amistades y la familia. Mi mamá es muy conocida en la zona donde vivimos (el Centro de Maracay), ya que ella es tan graciosa y se ha ganado el cariño y respeto de muchísimas personas. Ese día a pesar de ser su cumpleaños, ella quiso colaborarme haciéndome el desayuno y almuerzo que yo debía llevar a mi trabajo, con mucho amor le agradecí y abracé antes de irme.
It was a very nice day for my mum as she received many beautiful gifts and messages from her friends and family. My mum is very well known in the area where we live (the centre of Maracay), as she is so funny and has earned the love and respect of many people. That day, even though it was her birthday, she wanted to help me by making breakfast and lunch for me to take to work, and I thanked her with love and hugged her before I left.
Una de mis hermanas le apartó una cita en un estudio de uñas que queda en el Centro Comercial Parque Aragua llamado [Polish Nails Spa](https://www.instagram.com/polish.ve/), desde sus historias y publicaciones he notado que hacen un muy lindo trabajo y tratan bien a sus clientes, así como también tienen buenas reseñas. Mi mamá tenía cita pautada para las 10:00 AM, así que ella antes de esa hora se preparó para ir hasta allá, el centro comercial no queda lejos de donde vivimos así que mi mamá no se preocupó mucho por la distancia. Una vez que llegó, se sentó en donde le indicaron y las trabajadoras empezaron a hacerle su manicure y pedicure, y por ser su cumpleaños, le sirvieron una deliciosa bebida junto con un dulce de galleta con fresa. Acá les comparto sus primeras fotos. 🥰
One of my sisters booked her an appointment at a nail studio in the Parque Aragua Shopping Centre called [Polish Nails Spa](https://www.instagram.com/polish.ve/), from their stories and publications I have noticed that they do a very nice job and treat their clients well, as well as have good reviews. My mum had an appointment scheduled for 10:00 AM, so she got ready to go there before that time, the mall is not far from where we live so my mum didn't worry too much about the distance. Once she arrived, she sat where she was told to sit and the workers started to give her a manicure and pedicure, and because it was her birthday, they served her a delicious drink along with a strawberry biscuit sweet. Here I share with you her first pictures. 🥰

Como yo estaba en mi trabajo y es muy lejos de donde vivo, tuve que comprarle el regalo a mi mamá por acá, así que aproveché de salir en mi hora de almuerzo (después de comer) a ver qué conseguía por ahí para comprarle. Estuve casi 1 hora caminando viendo qué le compraba ya que acá no hay variedad de tiendas en donde vendan ropa o zapatos, y era lo que le quería comprar. Por suerte conseguí donde comprarle un pantalón de tela muy fresca y unas sandalias, pero también le compré otras cositas más que le metí en su bolsita de regalo. Mi pareja Gabo me mencionó que iría al centro para comprarle algo a mi mamá de su parte, así que nos pusimos de acuerdo para encontrarnos y así ayudarlo a escoger algo para mi mamá, pero como el salió tarde de su casa, las tiendas en el centro ya estaban casi todas cerradas, pero pudo conseguir donde comprarle unos zarcillos y collar a mi mamá antes de encontrarnos, también pasamos por una panadería en donde nos detuvimos ya que Gabo le quiso comprar una torta pequeña para ella. Ya luego de haber comprado lo que se quiso y pudo comprar, nos dirigimos a mi casa para saludar a mi mamá y entregarle sus regalos. 🤗🥰
As I was at work and it's very far from where I live, I had to buy my mum a present here, so I took the opportunity to go out on my lunch break (after lunch) to see what I could find to buy her. I spent almost an hour walking around looking for what to buy her, as there is no variety of shops here where they sell clothes or shoes, and that's what I wanted to buy her. Luckily I was able to find a place to buy her a cool pair of trousers and some sandals, but I also bought her a few other things that I put in her little gift bag. My partner Gabo mentioned to me that he was going downtown to buy something for my mum on his behalf, so we agreed to meet up and help him pick out something for my mum, but since he left his house late, the shops downtown were almost all closed, but he was able to find a place to buy some earrings and a necklace for my mum before we met up, we also stopped at a bakery where we stopped because Gabo wanted to buy a small cake for her. After buying what he wanted and could buy, we headed to my house to greet my mum and give her her presents. 🤗🥰

Gabo compartió un ratico con ella, hablaron y mi mamá se puso al día con el con respecto a las manualidades que ella ha estado haciendo nuevamente con cintillos y lazos, estaba muy contenta de mostrarle a Gabo todas esas preciosuras que ha hecho para la venta. Luego Gabo se despidió de mi mamá y yo quise acompañarlo hasta la parada para que el agarrara el bus hacia su casa. Fue inevitable pasar por la heladería que está cerca de mi casa y no querer comprar un helado, así que le pregunté a Gabo si quería uno, al ser afirmativa su respuesta, compré uno para cada uno y desde ahí nos fuimos hasta la parada, luego nos despedimos y yo me regresé a mi casa nuevamente.
Gabo shared a little while with her, they talked and my mum caught up with him about the crafts she has been doing again with ribbons and bows, she was very happy to show Gabo all the beautiful things she has made for sale. Then Gabo said goodbye to my mum and I wanted to accompany him to the bus stop so he could catch the bus home. It was inevitable to pass by the ice cream shop near my house and not want to buy an ice cream, so I asked Gabo if he wanted one, when his answer was affirmative, I bought one for each of us and from there we went to the bus stop, then we said goodbye and I went back to my house again.
Al hacerse de noche, mi mamá recibió un mensaje por otra de mis hermanas (Fátima) en donde le decía que bajara del apartamento porque iba a recibir otro regalito. Mi mamá me pidió que la acompañara así que eso hice. Quien traía los regalos era una vieja amiga de mi hermana Fátima, ya que su trabajo consiste en realizar arreglos de ese tipo. Mi mamá y yo nos quedamos un buen rato abajo hablando con la amiga de mi hermana y luego al despedirnos de ella, le dije a mi mamá que sonriera para una foto que le quise tomar. Aproveché de tomarle una foto al regalo de mi papá, y aunque mi papá cumplió el 6 de Febrero (hace 1 mes y 5 días), mi hermana quiso mandarle ese regalito que le debía a el. Al subir se lo entregué y entre risas mi papá nos dijo a mi mamá y a mi "La botella tenía que ser real y no un globo" 🤣🤭🙈
When it got dark, my mum received a message from another of my sisters (Fatima) telling her to come down from the flat because she was going to receive another little present. My mum asked me to go with her, so I did. The person who brought the presents was an old friend of my sister Fatima's, as her job consists of making such arrangements. My mum and I stayed downstairs for a while talking to my sister's friend and then as we said goodbye to her, I told my mum to smile for a photo I wanted to take. I took the opportunity to take a picture of my dad's present, and although my dad's birthday was on the 6th of February (1 month and 5 days ago), my sister wanted to send him that little present that I owed him. When I went upstairs I gave it to her and between laughs my dad told my mum and me "The bottle had to be real and not a balloon" 🤣🤭🙈

Luego de un momento, empezamos a acomodar y preparar la mesa para cantarle el cumpleaños feliz a mi mamá. Y cuando menos lo esperábamos, se va la luz... 🙃🙃 Como ya se está volviendo muy común otra vez acá en Venezuela los cortes de luz, ya estamos acostumbrados, así que lo que hicimos fue reír para no llorar. Lo que más nos preocupaba a mis papás y a mi es que cuando se va la luz, la señal suele fallar también, y nosotros en cada cumpleaños solemos llamar a mis hermanas por videollamada para que estemos todos juntos literalmente, cantando y celebrando. Como nos dimos cuenta que la señal quedó intacta, aprovechamos de hacer la videollamada rapidito para cantarle el cumpleaños feliz a mi mamá. Me tomé dos fotos con ella en mi cuarto cuando ya se había ido la luz, y también le saqué fotos a ella mientras cantábamos con mis hermanas a través de la pantalla, ah, y mi perrito Panchi no podía faltar jajaja. 🙈🤭🥰 A él le encantan los cumpleaños, y siempre que hacemos videollamada con mis hermanas el empieza a ladrar y a saltar para que lo carguemos.
After a while, we started to set up and prepare the table to sing happy birthday to my mum. And when we least expected it, the lights go out.... 🙃🙃 As power cuts are becoming very common again here in Venezuela, we are already used to them, so what we did was to laugh to avoid crying. What worried my parents and I the most is that when the power goes out, the signal usually fails too, and we usually call my sisters on every birthday by video call so that we are all together literally, singing and celebrating. As we realised that the signal was intact, we took the opportunity to make a quick video call to sing happy birthday to my mum. I took two photos with her in my room when the lights had gone out, and I also took photos of her while we were singing with my sisters through the screen, oh, and my little dog Panchi couldn't miss it hahaha. He loves birthdays, and whenever we make a video call with my sisters he starts barking and jumping for us to charge him.

A pesar de haberse ido la luz, pudimos celebrar otro año de vida de mi madre. Escribir esto es muy dificil para mi, ya que mi mamá se va dentro de pocos días del país. No sé cuándo volveré a celebrar un cumpleaños junto a ella, cuándo la volveré a abrazar y compartir con ella. No sólo ella se irá, sino también mi papá, así que eso significa que los próximos meses serán muy complejos para mi sin mis padres y hermanas a mi lado. Estoy muy contenta y feliz de que mi mamá por fin tenga la oportunidad de volver a ver a mis hermanas y conocer a mis otros 2 sobrinos. Son 7 años sin verlas físicamente y sé que está muy feliz de que su sueño se vaya a cumplir en pocos días. El poco tiempo que tendré para compartir y salir con ella antes que se vaya debo aprovecharlo y disfrutarlo al máximo, ya que no sé cuánto tiempo pasará para que yo vuelva a compartir con mi familia. Estaré sola acá en Venezuela, y aunque cuento con el apoyo de mi suegra, mi pareja y amigos, por lo sensible que soy sé que podría deprimirme y tener días muy pero muy complejos. Aún así, estoy agradecida con Dios con todo esto que está por acontecer, ya que eso de alguna u otra forma, me hará crecer y madurar más como ser humano y como mujer.
Despite the power going out, we were able to celebrate another year of my mother's life. It is very difficult for me to write this, as my mother is leaving the country in a few days. I don't know when I will celebrate a birthday with her again, when I will hug her and share with her again. Not only she is leaving, but also my dad, so this means that the next few months will be very difficult for me without my parents and sisters by my side. I am very happy that my mum will finally have the opportunity to see my sisters again and meet my other 2 nephews. It has been 7 years without seeing them physically and I know she is very happy that her dream will be fulfilled in a few days. The little time I will have to share and go out with her before she leaves, I must make the most of it and enjoy it to the fullest, as I don't know how long it will be before I will be able to share with my family again. I will be alone here in Venezuela, and although I have the support of my mother-in-law, my partner and friends, because of how sensitive I am, I know that I could get depressed and have very, very difficult days. Even so, I am grateful to God for all this that is about to happen, because in one way or another, it will make me grow and mature more as a human being and as a woman.

También me dió gusto poder ir a visitarla en persona y darle algún detalle, me alegra que le haya gustado, así como luego me hiciste saber que tambíen le gusto y ha usado mucho el detalle que le dí en su cumpleaños anterior 🙏🏻❤
A pesar de que se fue la luz, lograro comunicarse con tus hermanas y sobrinos, puedieron cantarle cumpleaños a tu mami y seguramente conversar y reír en el proceso jejeje, además me pareció chistoso imaginarme a Panchi queriendo salir en la videollamada, haciendo saltos y ladridos jajaja 🤭🤭
Y bueno mi Mila, sé que es algo complicado que tu madre se vaya para otro país y te quedes en relación de tu familia, sola, yo ya lo pasé por algunos meses también y realmente uno le pega esa diferencia de tener lejos a su madre, espero que ese distanciamiento sea momentáneo y no dure mucho mi Mila, que una vez tu mami se vaya del país, pase poco tiempo para que te vuelvas a encontrar con ella 🙏🏻❤

Así debe ser mi Mila, la vida continúa, así uno no esté preparado, lo mejor que podemos hacer es ir adaptándonos a cada cambio, a cada ciclo nuevo que se genere en nuestra vida.
