Este sábado fui a un concierto gratis de Karina en Caracas. Karina es una de las más grandes cantautoras que tiene Venezuela y en conjunto con la alcaldía del municipio Chacao hicieron uno de los mejores conciertos gratuitos que haya habido en los últimos tiempos en el país por motivo del mes de laa madres.

Al igual que el de Yordano el concierto se llevó a cabo en la Plaza Francia de Altamira, municipio Chacao, solo que está vez había mucha más gente, demasiada, eran más de 40.000 personas listas para cantar a todo pulmón todos los éxitos de Karina 🎶.

This Saturday I went to a free concert of Karina in Caracas. Karina is one of the greatest singer-songwriters that Venezuela has and together with the mayor's office of the municipality of Chacao they did one of the best free concerts in recent times in the country for the month of mothers.

Just like Yordano's, the concert was held at Plaza Francia in Altamira, municipality of Chacao, only this time there were many more people, too many, more than 40,000 people ready to sing at the top of their lungs all of Karina's hits 🎶.

Fui con mi mamá, mis tias y unas amigas de ellas, llegamos al lugar a la 1:00 pm aunque el concierto iba a comenzar a las 8:00 pm, la cuestion era que queriamos posicionarnos en un buen lugar lo más cerca del escenario por eso era necesario irse tan temprano, al ser un evento gratuito era de esperarse que asistiera mucha gente, al final nuestro esfuerzo valió la pena porque logramos ubicarnos en un buen lugar cerca de la tarima.

Cómo en el concierto anterior muestras se hacía la hora de empezar el concierto había un DJ colocando canciones de todos los estilos que marcaron la época de los 80 y 90, y las personas ya estaban muy animadas gozando de la vibra que se había armado en el lugar. El sol estaba fuerte cuando llegamos pero después de un rato bajo y empezó a estar más fresco el día, y menos mal, porque con tanta gente el calor iba a ser insoportable 🥵. Aproximadamente a las 6:00 de la tarde ya no nos podíamos mover de nuestro lugar, no podíamos salir y después mucho menos podíamos volver a entrar, ya había demasiada gente.

I went with my mom, my aunts and some friends of them, we arrived at the place at 1:00 pm although the concert was to start at 8:00 pm, the question was that we wanted to position ourselves in a good place as close to the stage so it was necessary to go so early, being a free event was expected to attend many people, in the end our effort was worth it because we managed to get a good place near the stage.

As in the previous concert, samples of the songs that marked the era of the 80's and 90's were played by a DJ, and people were already very lively enjoying the vibe that had been set up in the place. The sun was strong when we arrived but after a while it got cooler, and thank goodness, because with so many people the heat was going to be unbearable 🥵. At about 6:00 in the evening we couldn't move from our place, we couldn't go out and then we couldn't go back in, there were already too many people.

Cómo a las 7:30 empezaron a hablar los animadores dando a entender que faltaba poco para empezar y después le dieron la palabra al alcalde del municipio que sinceramente ha hecho un buen trabajo ya que Chacao es uno de los municipios de Caracas más tranquilos y mantenidos a demás de ser ahora el encargado de estos conciertos que hasta ahora no han dejado nada que desear.

Justo a las 8:00 de la noche empezaron a cantar los encargados de abrir el concierto, ellos fueron Thalia samarjian y Zarik Medina, un duo muy talentoso que sinceramente nos cautivó a todos, Thalia samarjian sobre todo quien tiene una voz majestuosa, de verdad que son increíbles. Ellos cantaron canciones que todos conocemos, eso creo yo que fue lo que más cautivó a la gente, que pudieron cantar con ellos y bailar al ritmo de esas canciones, ya que eran canciones que todos conocemos y nos gustan. Después de un pequeño tributo a Selena Quintanilla terminaron su presentación de la mejor manera posible, de verdad que estuvo increíble.

At about 7:30 the entertainers began to speak, giving the impression that there was not much time left to start and then they gave the floor to the mayor of the municipality who sincerely has done a good job since Chacao is one of the most peaceful and maintained municipalities of Caracas, besides being now in charge of these concerts that so far have left nothing to be desired.

Right at 8:00 in the evening, Thalia Samarjian and Zarik Medina began to sing, a very talented duo that sincerely captivated us all, Thalia Samarjian above all who has a majestic voice, they are truly amazing. They sang songs that we all know, I think that was what most captivated the people, they were able to sing with them and dance to the rhythm of those songs, since they were songs that we all know and like. After a small tribute to Selena Quintanilla they finished their presentation in the best possible way, it was really incredible.

Y ahora sí era el momento de la fabulosa Karina, después de 20 minutos por fin salió al escenario y todos nos volvimos locos. Debo admitir que al principio yo no quería asistir al concierto ya que (según yo) no conocia las canciones de ella, solo una, pero resulta que en el concierto me di cuenta que me sabía mucho de sis grandes exitos solo que no sabía que eran de ella 😂.

Esa mujer llego al escenario luciendo como una, un enterizo negro con mucho brillo, su cabello rizado alborotado, simplemente espectacular. Ella tiene una personalidad muy extrovertida, no tiene filtros, es simplemente auténtica y espontanea y no tiene pena en expresarse tal cual es, a demás adora interactuar con su público, de verdad que lo ama.
Comenzó cantando las canciones que fueron parte de la intro de muchas novelas venezolanas. Durante toda la noche fue deleitándonos con sus canciones como "a quién" y "desde mi ventana".

And now it was time for the fabulous Karina, after 20 minutes she finally came on stage and we all went crazy. I must admit that at first I didn't want to attend the concert because (according to me) I didn't know her songs, only one, but it turned out that at the concert I realized that I knew a lot of her greatest hits, I just didn't know that they were hers 😂.

That woman took to the stage looking like one, a black one-piece with a lot of glitter, her curly hair tousled, just spectacular. She has a very outgoing personality, she has no filters, she is simply authentic and spontaneous and has no shame in expressing herself as she is, she also loves interacting with her audience, she really loves it.
She started singing the songs that were part of the intro of many Venezuelan soap operas. Throughout the night she was delighting us with her songs like "a quién" and "desde mi ventana".

La sorpresa de la noche fue cuando Kiara otra gran cantante de Venezuela llegó como invitada, yo solo voy a decir ¡Que mujer tan espectacular! Espero verme así como ella cuando esté en mis 50, una diosa completamente. Ella interpretó dos de sus canciones más conocidas "Tesoro mío" junto a Karina y "Descarado" donde aquí si no tenías a quien dedicarle esa canción te lo inventabas 😂.

También hizo una breve aparición Luis Fernando Borjas, ex integrante de la súper banda de Venezuela "Guaco" y nos dió la Bella sorpresa de que el próximo concierto lo dará el junto a su hermano Ronald Borjas.

The surprise of the night was when Kiara another great singer from Venezuela arrived as a guest, I'm just going to say what a spectacular woman! I hope to look like her when I'm in my 50's, a complete goddess. She performed two of her best known songs "Tesoro mío" with Karina and "Descarado" where here if you didn't have someone to dedicate that song to you made it up 😂.

Luis Fernando Borjas, former member of the Venezuelan super band "Guaco" also made a brief appearance and gave us the beautiful surprise that the next concert will be given by him and his brother Ronald Borjas.

Ya era hora de terminar el concierto por lo que ella dejó su más grande exito para cerrar con broche de oro, la canción "se como duele" es un himno para muchos asi que no habia mejor manera de cerrar la noche. El alcalde al finalizar le dió un reconocimiento de parte de la Alcaldía de Chacao.

La gente empezó a irse de una manera civilizada para evitar que se formara alguna trifulca debido a la cantidad de personas, el concierto terminó casi a la 12:00 am, estábamos todos agotados y con los pies adoloridos pero nos llevamos uno de los mejores conciertos en el corazón.

It was time to end the concert so she left her biggest hit to close with a flourish, the song "se como duele" is an anthem for many so there was no better way to close the night. The mayor at the end gave her a recognition on behalf of the Mayor of Chacao.

The people started to leave in a civilized way to avoid a fight due to the amount of people, the concert ended almost at 12:00 am, we were all exhausted and with sore feet but we took one of the best concerts in our hearts.
