Transplanting seedlings and direct seeding in my Garden | Phone Photography -24
With bright sunshine and blue skies, we have started clearing the garden by removing weeds & unwanted plants.
I also went to the Nursery and brought chili, brinjal, and marigold plant seedlings.
As you can see I have made preparations and transplanted them in our garden. In 30-40 days, they will start bearing veggies.
The seedlings you can see here are Maize, I did not transplant them, but rather directly seeded them and they have sprouted nicely, popping up from underneath the soil. Amazing to see it happen in just 3 days.
While gardening is full of fun and fulfills physiological needs, maintaining a big-sized garden is always labor-intensive.
You can see Ridge gourds are growing nicely and we have already started consuming them. The monkeys are invading our garden from time to time and eating fresh cucumber and ridge gourd. We want them not to destroy the plant. Taking a few veggies is okay for us.
Here you can see the chili seedlings were transplanted here yesterday, they will take 1/2 day to pick up their freshness in the new conditions.
And here is marigold saplings, they were also brought from the Nursery and transplanted today.
You can see our garden, now looking better after removing all the unwanted weeds.
Cucumber you can see. We are harvesting at least 3/4 cucumbers daily. Amazing experience to eat them fresh, organic, and home-grown.
This is a sandalwood tree. We have at least 6 of them in our garden. But its girth is not that thick to make it commercially useful.
Our garden is a source of happiness for us. It also makes us self-reliant to a great extent. Engaging in the garden always makes me "feel good". Emotionally, physiologically, and in many other ways, it's an avenue of happiness.
Thank you.

Itne dino baad dhoop ne ek alag hi josh sa bhar diya hoga ki chalo ab finally kuch naye paudhe lagane ka samay aa gaya hai. :) Badhiya garden hai bhai aapka, aapke paudhon par aise fresh aur healthy fal sabjiyan dekhke dil khush ho jata hai.
Jee bilkul...jab yeh badi ho jayegi toh aur maja ayega.....actually it's just the start, aur bhi bahat kuch lagana hai.....thandi me mahine me waise bhi sabji bahat ache se hoti hai kam maintenance me.
Thanks bhai.
Mere yahan thandi mein sab kuch slow ho jata hai even paudhe toh apne growth mein literally freeze se ho jate hain matlab koi nayi Patti nahi aati, size nahi badhta bas hariyali bani rehti hai😄 waise ye bhi accha hai par lagta hai gardening ke bare mein abhi aur bahut kuch seekhne ki jarurat hai.
jee haan geography also matters, yahan coastal state hone ke karan thandi intense nhi hoti jaise ki north india me hoti hai, hardly temp 10-15 degree rehti hai jo ki ideal hai sabzi ke liye....aur upar se humid condition toh bani rehti hai.
Oh wow yaar ye to bahut badhiya hai. Yahan to thandi mein temperature 1 degree tak chala jata hai aur garmi mein phir se 50. Ye wakai bada mushkil hota hai paudhon ke liye bhi aur humare liye bhi.
