REFLECTING ON WOMAN IN STEM

Honoring the positive influence our women play on stem roles is a significant achievement. The term stem is an abbreviation that means, Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These four fields are one of the major disciplines of life and Are majorly centered on creating skills for problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity.

Personally, I see the role of women in STEM as a very vital domain. Both men and women can work together to make stem innovation and give necessary solutions to every progressive challenge or problem. Some people tend to condemn the engagement of women in STEM, but I see women as smart just like the way men are also.

Being a woman in STEM would be a major motivation to many ladies out there. It is time people start seeing the value of women in Science, engineering, technology, and mathematics. I have seen some women's forum that encourages this particular aspect.

The only opposition I can have toward women's participation in STEM is when it comes to rigorous activities that require physical strength and ability, like some parts of engineering. Men are built stronger, unlike women have to train and adapt themselves to be strong, but men don't need that. Although before puberty boys and girls are the same after puberty, men tend to build muscles.

Role of Women in Science

I remember in my early school, girls were encouraged to engage in finance courses than in science. In my science class, we have 23 boys and only 2 girls. These were ladies who were determined by their passion and zeal, and trust me they are both excelling presently in the science courses they advanced in. I spoke with one of them last week and she told me several companies are calling for her skillful science participation. One concentrated more on biology the other on physics.

Role of Women in Technology

I know of so many ladies presently who love the world of tech, ladies on Hive are an example of this. The role of women has helped improve so many technologies by giving possibilities for problem-solving skills and innovative ideas on the growth and progress of technology. Presently now, ladies are embracing the world of technology and the world sees their value in it.

Role of Women in Engineering

On this aspect, women can participate in engineering also but there are limitations to their participation. I see engineering as a very strenuous engagement and in my country, I grew up to understand women as living begins that should not participate in strenuous activities. So my explanation of this aspect is limited. I know ladies participate in the field of engineering but I feel there are limitations to the participation.

Role of Women in Mathematics

Growing up, I have heard so many facts that girls are smarter than boys, I don't know how true it is, but the way my mom outsmarts my dad in collecting finances and making calculations, and how my girlfriend outsmarts me in this aspect also. Women in the field a seen as relevant and important. I once watched a movie that the girl was twice smarter than anyone when it came to mathematics and when I researched it online it was based on a true-life movie

The world needs to start seeing the value of women in this field, I feel bad when I see some countries deprive women of engagement in this field, but the truth is women are adaptable in all fields depending on their personal desires and determination. I will love to explain further on this topic but my knowledge of this aspect is limited.

We value our women, Being a woman in STEM is a great achievement and a role model that encourages future generations.
