ANOTHER BRAWL, ANOTHER SWEEP?

Greetings Praetorians!
Another Brawl has come to a close and I am pleased to announce that my win streak somehow is still alive. I usually play in the Bronze League Wild Format. Not sure up to when I can maintain this uninterrupted run of luck, but I am relishing the moment. Opponents fleeing sure helps a lot😅. You can check out my battles and see if you can pick up some tiny bits of strategies that may help you in your own contests.

Ruleset: Reverse Speed(units with the slowest speed attack first and have the highest chance to evade attacks), 31 Mana

With YODIN ZAKU as summoner giving Blast(does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster) to all of my monsters and also plus 1 ranged damage and plus 1 health, my team simply has more firepower. Choosing slow monsters to utilize this ruleset is a must. Take note, I was able to fit in 6 attacking monsters in my team as opposed to only 5 from my opponent.

Ruleset: Tis But Scratches(all units have Cripple-minus 1 health to targets max health after each successful attack), Odd Ones Out(only odd mana cost monster are usable), Lost Magic(cannot summon units with Magic attack) 42 Mana

The choice of summoner played a big part in this match. BYZANTINE KITTY gives far superior stats to my whole team with plus 2 Speed, True Strike(attacks always hit target), Tank Heal(heals the unit at the first position each round). My opponents tank POSSESSED PUPPET with only 4 health and no shield is a bit weak in my opinion. And when it fell the next 2 units are archery monsters that cannot attack when in front position. I did not even need to use any Gladiators in this match.

Ruleset: Ferocity(all units have Fury-deals 2x damage if target has Taunt), Wands Out(can only summon monsters with Magic attack), Holy Protection(all units have Divine Shield-ignores all damage once), 43 Mana

My MUSHROOM SEER with Silence(minus 1 Magic attack of all enemy units) paired perfectly with summoner IMMORTALIS that gives Void(reduced damage from Magic attacks) to all my monsters. This was truly a flawless victory.

Ruleset: Melee Mayhem(units can use Melee attacks from any position), Are You Not Entertained(can summon 1 additional Gladiator), 33 Mana

FEREXIAN HERO is the real hero with its Weapons Training(adjacent units with no attack gain this units attack up to a maximum of 3) in this match as it gave plus 3 Melee attack to KRASH WANDERFORD and CREEPING OOZE. I also had the advantage of speed as KRASH WANDERFORD has Swiftness(all friendly units gain plus 1 speed) and CREEPING OOZE has Slow(reduces the speed of all enemy monsters by 1). Extra Blast damage granted by YODIN ZAKU also helped a lot as this match only lasted 2 rounds.

Ruleset: Aimless(all units with Ranged and Magic attacks have Scattershot-attacks random targets), 21 Mana

I deployed a similar strategy as in the previous match but with only 21 mana allowed, I swapped the 8 mana cost FEREXIAN HERO with a 4 mana cost MOXIAN REBEL to give Weapons Training ability to KRASH WANDERFORD that has Swiftness(all friendly units gain plus 1 speed) and CREEPING OOZE that has Slow(reduces the speed of all enemy monsters by 1), again to somehow give speed-control to my units. Also, in low mana battles, CERBERUS as tank with its Heal(restores 1/3 of its max health each round) and ample health is hard to take down.

As a result of this Brawl, each participating member of the mitriiman squad was rewarded 1,225 Merits and 18.432 Staked SPS.
