The carnival is arriving in Brazil!

The carnival here in Brazil has already begun, or at least a warm-up. For those who live here in Brazil, or have come on vacation at this time of year, they know that this is one of the biggest celebrations we have here. The Brazilian culture focused on this grand party, which lasts for days (or even weeks in some places), is one of our references known worldwide. With a week in advance before the festivities begin, we can already see independent events happening in various places here in my city.

Yesterday, there was a gathering very close to where I live, and even inside my house, I could hear the sound of the music, which cheered me up. I grabbed a beer from the fridge and headed there, after all, it seems like carnival has already started!

Upon arriving there, I realized the scale of it! There were many people, some in costumes, others just enjoying. There were children, elders, and many young people eager to enjoy this vibe. The neighbors from the place where it was happening also came out to support yet another carnival that is about to arrive. It's undeniable, this is one of the biggest parties we have in Brazil!

O carnaval aqui no Brasil já começou, ou pelo menos um aquecimento. Para quem mora aqui no Brasil, ou já veio em passeio nesta época do ano, sabe que esta é uma das maiores celebrações que temos por aqui. A cultura brasileira voltada para essa grande festa, que dura dias (ou até mesmo semanas em alguns lugares), é uma das nossas referências conhecidas pelo mundo todo. Com uma semana de antecedência para o início das festas, já podemos ver eventos independentes acontecendo em vários pontos aqui da minha cidade.

Ontem, houve uma concentração bem perto de onde moro e mesmo dentro de casa, eu escutava o som da música, que me animou. Peguei uma cerveja na geladeira e fui pra lá, afinal, pelo que parece, já é carnaval!

Chegando lá, eu percebi o tamanho! Tinha muitas pessoas, algumas fantasiadas, outras apenas curtindo. Havia crianças, senhores e muita gente jovem querendo curtir essa vibe. Os vizinhos do local onde estava acontecendo também colocaram a cara para fora para prestigiar mais um carnaval que está para chegar. Não dá para negar, esta é uma das maiores festas que temos no Brasil!
