Plans and Aspirations for This Year here in the Hive

When a new year begins, we have to set goals and plan our steps towards the achievements that may come. Planning something is easy; setting goals is simple and effortless. The ideal is also to plan what our actions will be so that the points we are aiming for are achieved. This year will be a year of many changes for me and I've already started planning them even before 2023 ends. But here at Hive, I also have my own goals, which go beyond the financial.

It's not news to anyone who's here that HP is the main way to show how engaged we are and how much we believe in this ecosystem. Even if you support other projects, having decision-making power to guide the direction and improvements here at Hive is very important. That's why my main goal here at Hive is to increase my voting power, so that I can contribute in various ways to building this ecosystem. In addition, I'll be able to have a greater impact by helping content to be monetized with my vote. Distributing income to real content creators who create something of value for the platform will be one of the ways I can make a difference. In other words, one of my goals for this year at Hive will be to increase my voting power even more in order to direct it to the truly deserving, and I'll be paying close attention to that.

Numbers are important and, by the time 2024 comes to an end, I want to have gained 15,000 HP. If things go well, maybe I'll reach 20,000 HP, but that will be a goal without much conviction, as I know it will be much harder to achieve just by creating content, and the external factor I can't control. My challenge is to maintain the consistency I had in 2022 and 2023, producing content almost every day. This year I'll have external projects that will need my attention, so I don't know how I'll be able to cope with it all, at least not now; then things will adjust.

Another goal for this year is to try to get closer to the users here, increase my web of contacts and make more friends. My day-to-day life is very hectic and, when I sit down in front of the computer to create content, I have very little time left, and I don't always manage to keep in touch with the people who comment on my posts or even comment on other people's posts as often as I would like. That's something I'd like to improve in myself this year. I have a lot of things to say to people and a lot of compliments stored up inside me. The fact that I don't speak English often prevents me from being more active too. I'd like to have a greater facility in this language; that would be great for creating more friendships here. But dedicating myself to studying English this year is also in my personal plans.

I'd also like to take part in some extra project, find something that I identify with and that I can join forces to create something incredible. This kind of activity makes me more excited and inspired to be active in Hive. It's in my soul to be able to serve and help build things. I've always been like that, and it's only been a few times that I've found myself in that respect here at Hive. It would be great to have a new role somewhere. But I know that sometimes the little time I have can get in the way of that. However, I would make the effort if I saw something concrete and lasting.

Well, I guess those are just a few things I'd like to have and complete by the end of this year. I'm already very grateful for everything I've made happen here at Hive and I know that I've contributed a lot. But the road still lies ahead, and I know that many good things can be achieved at the end of this cycle that has just begun. My efforts will not be measured, and my consistency is one of the ways I show how much I believe in my growth and also in the growth of Hive as a whole. I also believe that very good things are to come over the next few years. I'm confident of that!

Quando um ano começa, nos remete a traçar objetivos e planejar nossos passos para as conquistas que poderão vir. Planejar algo é fácil; traçar objetivos é simples e sem esforço. O ideal é planejar também quais serão as nossas ações para que os pontos que almejamos sejam alcançados. Este ano para mim será de muitas mudanças e já comecei a traçá-los antes mesmo que o ano de 2023 terminasse. Mas aqui dentro da Hive, eu também tenho meus objetivos, que vão além do quesito financeiro.

Não é novidade para ninguém que está aqui que o HP é a principal forma de mostrar o quanto estamos engajados e acreditamos nesse ecossistema. Mesmo que você apoie outros projetos, ter poder de decisão para guiar os rumos e melhorias aqui dentro da Hive é um ponto muito importante. É por isso que meu objetivo principal aqui na Hive é crescer meu poder de voto, pois assim poderei contribuir de várias formas para a construção desse ecossistema. Além disso, poderei ter um maior impacto ajudando conteúdos a serem monetizados com meu voto. Distribuir renda para verdadeiros criadores de conteúdo que criam algo de valor para a plataforma será uma das maneiras que poderei fazer a diferença. Ou seja, um dos meus objetivos para esse ano na Hive será aumentar meu poder de voto ainda mais para direcioná-lo a verdadeiros merecedores, e estarei atento a isso.

Números são importantes e, quando o ano de 2024 chegar ao fim, eu quero ter conquistado 15 mil de HP. Se as coisas forem bem, talvez eu chegue em 20 mil HP, mas essa será uma meta sem muita convicção, pois sei que será bem mais difícil de alcançar apenas criando conteúdo, e o fator externo eu não posso controlar. O meu desafio é manter a consistência que tive nos anos de 2022 e 2023, produzindo conteúdo quase todos os dias. Este ano eu terei projetos externos que vão precisar da minha atenção, então não sei como vou conseguir lidar com tudo isso, pelo menos não sei agora; depois, as coisas se ajustam.

Outra meta para este ano é tentar me aproximar mais dos usuários por aqui, aumentar a minha teia de contatos e fazer mais amizades. O meu dia a dia é muito agitado e, quando sento em frente ao computador para criar conteúdos, me sobra pouco tempo, e nem sempre consigo manter contato com as pessoas que comentam nos meus posts ou mesmo nem consigo comentar nos de outras pessoas com a frequência que eu gostaria. Isso é algo que eu gostaria de melhorar em mim para este ano. Tenho muitas coisas a dizer para as pessoas e muitos elogios guardados dentro de mim. Muitas vezes, o fato de não falar inglês me impede de ser mais ativo também. Eu gostaria de ter uma maior facilidade nesse idioma; isso seria ótimo para criar mais laços de amizade por aqui. Mas me dedicar a estudar inglês durante este ano também está nos meus planos pessoais.

Eu também gostaria de participar de algum projeto extra, encontrar algo que me identifique e que eu possa somar forças para criar algo incrível. Esse tipo de atividade me deixa mais empolgado e inspirado a estar ativo na Hive. Está na minha alma poder servir e ajudar a construir coisas. Eu sempre fui assim, e foram poucas as vezes que me encontrei nesse aspecto aqui na Hive. Seria ótimo poder ter uma função nova em algum lugar. Mas sei que às vezes o pouco tempo que tenho poderá atrapalhar essa empreitada. No entanto, eu me esforçaria se visse algo concreto e duradouro.

Bem, acho que essas são apenas algumas coisas que eu gostaria de ter e concluir ao término deste ano. Eu já sou muito grato por tudo que fiz acontecer aqui na Hive e sei da minha parcela de contribuição. Mas o caminho ainda precisa ser percorrido, e sei que muitas coisas boas poderão ser conquistadas no fim desse ciclo que começou. Os meus esforços não serão medidos, e minha consistência é uma das formas de mostrar o quanto eu acredito no meu crescimento e também no crescimento da Hive como um todo. Também acredito que coisas muito boas estão por vir nesses próximos anos. Estou confiante nisso!
