Graffiti in the tunnel

Yesterday, leaving a shopping mall in my city, Juiz de Fora here in Brazil, we passed by a place that was begging to be photographed. This is a tunnel that goes under the street, providing an exit for those heading towards the city center. But what's worth highlighting are the graffiti paintings throughout its length.

I've passed through this place several times during all the time I've lived in the city, but this is the first time I've passed by after someone has done this work. I can't even imagine how much effort this must have been, due to the irregularity of the surface. It's completely undulating, and I can only congratulate whoever undertook this, it looks fantastic!

On the walls, as well as on almost the entire ceiling, many figures of wild animals from Brazil, colored in a rather exotic way. What I liked most was the pink armadillo. But it wasn't just the drawings themselves that caught the eye, but also the color palette that changed as we walked through the place.

It was cool to pass by there and see this beautiful work that was done, it's impossible to pass by there and not be impressed. The lights also gave a great effect, I took some personal photos as well, one of which can be seen in this post.

Ontem, saindo de um shopping na minha cidade, Juiz de Fora, aqui no Brasil, passamos por um lugar que estava implorando para ser fotografado. Trata-se de um túnel que passa sob a rua, proporcionando uma saída para quem está indo em direção ao centro da cidade. No entanto, o destaque vai para os grafites pintados ao longo de toda a sua extensão.

Embora tenha passado por esse local várias vezes desde que me mudei para a cidade, esta é a primeira vez que passo por ele depois de alguém ter feito esse trabalho. Mal consigo imaginar o quanto isso pode ter sido trabalhoso, por conta da irregularidade da superfície do lugar. Ele é totalmente ondulado, e só posso parabenizar quem se propôs a fazer isso, ficou sensacional!

Nas paredes, assim como em quase todo o teto, muitas figuras de animais silvestres aqui do Brasil, coloridos de uma forma mais exótica. O que eu mais gostei foi do tatu-bola cor de rosa. Mas não foram apenas os desenhos em si que chamaram a atenção, mas também a paleta de cores que ia mudando conforme andávamos pelo lugar.

Foi legal passar por ali e ver esse lindo trabalho que foi feito, é impossível passar ali e não ficar impressionado. As luzes também deram um ótimo efeito, aproveitei para tirar algumas fotos pessoais também, uma delas poderá ser vista nesse post.
