Olá Splintermaníacos, bem vindos de volta!
Vou começar este conteúdo dizendo que por muito tempo eu evitava escalar monstros com ataque ranged. Eu sempre me sentia inseguro ao escalar monstros com esse tipo de ataque, pois se ao final das batalhas o meu tank fosse derrubado, dependeria que os monstros seguintes continuasse atacando e esse é o grande ponto fraco dos monstros ranged.
Porém, com o passar do tempo, eu fui adquirindo mais experiência nas minhas batalhas e fui testando maneiras de escalar bons times e boas composições e escolher o momento adequado para cada tipo de ataque foi muito importante para eu conseguir um um bom desempenho.
Quando a regra Close Range está ativa na batalha, eu tenho mais confiança em escalar mais monstros com ataque ranged, sem ficar a mercê dos primeiros monstros conseguirem resistir aos ataques, pois os monstros com esse tipo de ataque poderão atacar mesmo estando na primeira posição.
Mas mesmo se essa regra não estiver ativa, uma boa solução para continuar usando os monstros com esse ataque é conseguir um bom equilíbrio. Eu comecei a explorar os summoners que adicionam ataque extra para monstros ranged depois que fiquei mais atento a esses detalhes. Mesmo que esse summner adicione ataque ranged, não é muito inteligente deixar apenas monstros com esse tipo de ataque, pois pode não dar muito certo.
Eu fiz uma batalha em que consigo explorar muito bem os pontos citados acima e poderá ser um bom exemplo para representar essa dica! Vamos conferir!
Temos nessa batalha 50 de mana, o que é um número engraçado, pois a regra Little League está ativa. Então apenas monstros com custo de quatro de mana ou menos poderão ser escolhidos e isso combina muito bem com a outra regra ativa, Equalizer. Os monstros entrarão em campo com a mesma quantidade de vida. Por fim, a regra Close Range, que permitirá que monstros de ataque ranged ataquem da primeira posição.
Para essa partida, eu escolhi o summoner Selenia Sky, pois ela poderia potencializar os monstros ranged que eu estava pensando em escalar, e esses monstros seriam a minha principal força ofensiva em campo. Mas mesmo utilizando esse fortalecimento para um tipo de ataque específico, eu conclui que deveria mesclar meu time. É o equilíbrio que eu mencionei no começo deste post.

Observe alguns pontos:
Eu escolhi alguns monstros para causar danos extras ao serem atacados, o meu tank e o segundo monstros. Isso poderia me ajudar a matar monstros do meu oponente mais rápido.
O meu tank foi uma peça fundamental, pois iria refleti dano mágico e também poderia se esquivar de alguns ataques devido sua habilidade Flying e a alta velocidade que possui.
Doctor Blight foi outro monstro fundamental no meu time. Ele poderia ficar com uma quantidade de vida muito boa quando fosse necessário que ele ficasse na primeira posição e também iria impedir o tank adversário de se curar, além de causar veneno.
Venari Crystalsmith seria a responsável por restaurar a vida do meu tank, além de contribuir ofensivamente.
E por fim a força ofensiva do meu time, com dois monstros de habilidade Snipe para causar dano concentrado na linha de trás inimiga!
Essa foi uma batalha interessante e que me provou que o equilíbrio e as peças certas podem vencer de uma maneira limpa e sem muitas complicações.

I'll start this content by saying that for a long time I avoided climbing monsters with ranged attacks. I always felt insecure when climbing monsters with this type of attack, because if at the end of battles my tank was knocked down, it would depend on the following monsters to continue attacking and this is the biggest weakness of ranged monsters.
However, as time went by, I gained more experience in my battles and tested ways to build good teams and good compositions and choosing the right moment for each type of attack was very important for me to achieve a good performance.
When the Close Range rule is active in battle, I have more confidence in climbing more monsters with ranged attacks, without being at the mercy of the first monsters being able to resist attacks, as monsters with this type of attack will be able to attack even if they are in first position.
But even if this rule is not active, a good solution to continue using monsters with this attack is to achieve a good balance. I started exploring summoners that add extra attack to ranged monsters after I became more aware of these details. Even though this summner adds ranged attacks, it's not very smart to only leave monsters with this type of attack, as it may not work very well.
I had a battle in which I was able to explore the points mentioned above very well and it could be a good example to represent this tip! Let's check it out!
We have 50 mana in this battle, which is a funny number, since the Little League rule is active. So only monsters with a cost of four mana or less can be chosen and this combines very well with the other active rule, Equalizer. Monsters will enter the field with the same amount of health. Finally, the Close Range rule, which will allow ranged attack monsters to attack from the first position.
For this match, I chose the summoner Selenia Sky, as she could enhance the ranged monsters I was thinking about scaling, and these monsters would be my main offensive force on the field. But even using this strengthening for a specific type of attack, I concluded that I should merge my team. It's the balance I mentioned at the beginning of this post.

Note some points:
I chose some monsters to cause extra damage when attacked, my tank and the second monster. This could help me kill my opponent's monsters faster.
My tank was a fundamental piece, as it would reflect magical damage and could also dodge some attacks due to its Flying ability and the high speed it has.
Doctor Blight was another fundamental monster on my team. He could have a very good amount of health when it was necessary for him to be in first position and would also prevent the opposing tank from healing himself, in addition to causing poison.
Venari Crystalsmith would be responsible for restoring my tank's health, in addition to contributing offensively.
And finally the offensive strength of my team, with two monsters with Snipe ability to cause concentrated damage to the enemy back line!
This was an interesting battle and one that proved to me that balance and the right pieces can win cleanly and without too many complications.
