Battle Mage Secrets - Maneuvers! [PT/EN]
Meu time
Monstro | Objetivo |
---|---|

Hello Splinters, welcome back!
In Splinterlands we need to identify the best opportunities in a match. The conditions we will encounter in a battle will almost completely define our style of play. In today's battle, we will find some rules, but the main one, which this week's challenge surrounds, is the Maneuvers rule.
This is an interesting rule that allows a melee attack monster to obtain the Reach ability. With this implementation, we can create strategies and position monsters that naturally could only be in the tank position to have an attack carried out. In addition to this advantage, a monster in second position will not be targeted by enemy monsters, which can be very good.
To fulfill this function, monsters that have offensive power are well targeted. I particularly like monsters that have the Double Strike ability and using this against the opponent is very efficient to destroy their monsters!
Well, without further ado, let's go to battle!
This battle has 58 mana, a great number that gives you the freedom to choose more expensive monsters. In addition to Maneuvers, monsters on the field will gain extra shields and neutral element monsters cannot be chosen.
Summoners
I choose a summoner that adds more speed to the team and allows me to choose two elements, since the neutral element could not be chosen, this was a good advantage. My opponent chooses a summoner that adds more attack power to ranged monsters.
My team
Monster | Objective |
---|---|
My initial tank has a good amount of health, high speed and protection against magical attack monsters. It was a good choice, since the more resistant my tank was, the longer my backline monsters would be free to play their role on the field. | |
My second monster was everything I needed in the match and when I say everything, I'm talking about offense! | |
This monster has a good attack and was chosen to repair shield damage once per round! | |
Another monster that demonstrates strength on the field and can attack the enemy monster with the lowest health on the field. | |
This monster removes the enemy's shields while it is on the field and also gains extra attacks from adjacent monsters! | |
Finally, another monster to complement the team's offensive! |
Round by round!
In this first round I noticed that my tank was essential to face an opponent who chose some magical attack monsters. But still, my opponent had a very offensive team and this could be a big problem.
My tank was a fundamental part of my strategy since, when I faced a monster with an attack greater than 5, I only suffered 1 damage. But in the second round, I lost this valuable piece and my strategy became outdated.
The second round was eventful and many monsters said goodbye to the match. The big problem was facing the enemy monster that attacked twice and had no less than a 6 attack!
In this round it was 3x3 and although it seemed like I had the advantage, Pelacor Arbalest took away any advantage I could have had with its double attacks and took down my monsters one by one.
It was in the seventh round that the match ended, I could not withstand the destructive attacks of this enemy monster!
