Travel to Curug Panganten Cihanjuang, located in the village of Diaasih,
Curug Panganten_Cihanjuang is located in Diaasih Village, Cisarua District, West Bandung Regency, West Java Province. The distance from the city of Cimahi is about 8 km.
Curug Panganten is still a river with Curug Pelangi (Curug Cimahi), namely the Cimahi River. From Curug Cimahi (Curug Pelangi) is about 1 km downstream.
The Cimahi River which flows through the Cimahi waterfall (Curug Pelangi) and Panganten waterfall is indeed unique, because there are several waterfalls that are close to the distance, besides the Cimahi waterfall (Pelangi) and the Panganten waterfall there are still Bugbrug Curug, Curug Tilu Leuwi Opat, Curug Layung and Curug Lalay. The Cimahi River flows from Situ Lembang and empties into the Citarum River in the South Cimahi area, precisely Nanjung
Curug Panganten is a waterfall located in the west of Bandung. This waterfall is at an altitude of 1050 meters above sea level. Curug Panganten has a height of ± 50 m. This Panganten waterfall has the uniqueness of its beautiful natural scenery. This Panganten waterfall is in a green and soothing valley.
The atmosphere in the Panganten waterfall is still very virgin. This is because the Panganten waterfall is not too famous like Curug Pelangi, even if it can be said that the location of the Panganten waterfall is quite hidden. If you are looking for a photo spot in this place, it feels like you will be less satisfied because around the Panganten waterfall is only trees and cliffs. But if for a connoisseur of nature, lighter hiking lovers and someone who likes silence, this is a suitable place. Because the hidden waterfall was once used as the location of the old film shooting, the blind from the ghost cave, starring Ratno Timoer.
In contrast to his brother Curug Pelangi or Curug Cimahi, this Panganten waterfall is minimal facilities and has not been managed either by the public and private governments. The existing facilities and infrastructure seem unkempt and damaged. In this Panganten waterfall area there are no facilities including toilets and saung.
At present, Curug Panganten is part of the Katumiri natural tourism and outbound. Unfortunately, since the management of Katumiri Nature Tourism has changed hands, natural tourism has become unkempt and is somewhat slums. This is also what makes the condition of the Panganten waterfall not noticed as it should.
To reach the Panganten waterfall, from the direction of Cimahi you have to take the Cihanjuang road towards Parongpong. Then turn left at Km 7 precisely at the Katumiri Nature Tourism Resort. It is recommended to wear mountain shoes or sandals if you want to visit here. Because of the Katumiri Nature Tourism, you still have to take a distance of about 2 km with rocky and slippery tracks if it rains.
From the direction of Cimahi can also be reached via Jalan Margaluyu through Ciuyah with a distance of about 6 km. But for this path it is recommended to use a 2 -wheeled vehicle or walk. Because they have to enter remote areas and paths before reaching the Panganten waterfall.
The entrance ticket is only Rp. 5,000, even if the guard is in a post with an emergency building, if no one is guarded, you can freely enter.
