My Cleanplanet Activity for 5th-December-2024

Today was both a few times of joy and sorrow. In school, we remained with our exams and although I was ready with certain subjects, certain changes that occured, I was not prepared for. Today we had Biology, Physics and English Language. At first, I assumed Biology would be held tomorrow, but the schedule was changed to today’s timetable. As it may be seen, there was a sudden shift and I am grateful that I was able to write well.

Well, after school I went back to where I had left my phone earlier in the day were it was charging. Now I was almost at my street, but something got my attention ,there was food trash and dirts all over the place. This sight upset me and that’s why i was preparing to act as soon as possible.

I went home to fetch a tiny waste bin which I regularly use during my Clean Planet exercise, and went back to the street to start picking waste. As quietly as I could I then start collecting all the wrappers and pieces of dirt that were on the floor. This made me feel like am part of the process of making my environment clean and much more tidy.

This was so because most of the waste was produced in my house area and hence I did not need to take the waste to a very distant area. I threw away the gathered garbage in our garbage bin and made sure everything was properly closed. Despite the fatigue collected from the exams and the day’s exercises and events I was happy to be able to do something that was productive or sunk. Maintaining cleanliness is part of doing my daily business and today made a positive change on the environment by cleaning my surrounding.

Perhaps people consider it a petty thing, but I think it is the first step toward making the environment cleaner among citizens. Thanks to @cleanplanet for promoting this initiative.
