Most Fascinating & Notable Public Sculptures - Building Process Along the National Road, Cambodia 🇰🇭

Greetings everyone! Countryside is where we can enjoy the different scenery, building and new things. Last week, I went to one province with my family. All the interesting statue that I have found I will share with you today.

I love to share my traveling experiences of places that I have visited especially Cambodia with those unique looking statue and interesting historical figures.

As Cambodia is a developing country, some areas are modern, but some are still under the working process. When you travel from Phnom Penh to countryside of Cambodia, you must see how things actually hit a different, unexpected things and also the unique stuff.

A statue of Khmer ancestors. The purpose is to pray, remind their legacy, the peaceful of their souls. Most Cambodian houses also have a small shrine, family members pray for luck and give their respect. The surrounding area is very lively and great place to take photos.

When I think about all the great roundabouts that I need to do a selfie when I travel, this is definitely up there, but unfortunately this statue is still under the working process.

They show the way Cambodian dress and the symbol of Pursat which is “Kaom”. Cambodian style has two types of clothes: Krama and Sampot.

I saw that the artist design this statue with the lady put on a dark green Sampot. I used to see the similar one in the museum, a small one, they do add Krama.

Krama, which is a checkered sacred. Mostly people used it in the daily life or farming because of the convenience of their daily activities, it is easy and very comfortable.

Until now, they still continue producing the traditional material to make a drama especially in the countryside which is often made from cotton or silk.

What a beautiful day ?
We had an awesome experience around an old steel bridges. Some visitors stop their vehicles and picturing the view.

This bridge used to made of wood before, now it changes. The driver said this bridge hasn’t upgraded yet.

People who ride a bike during the night needs to use flashlight since there is no light or solar system that can make the bridge brightened.
