HiveOpenmic Week 220 || A Song Cover by @mhizerbee
Hi, Hi, Hi! I welcome you all to HiveOpenmic Week 220 with the theme Time I am @mhizerbee and for this week, I'll be singing the song One day at a time by Lynda Randle
I knew this song since I was a child and I loved it. The lyrics are just so simple and easy to comprehend. I hope you have fun and enjoy my presentation. 😊
The Bible says in Ecclesiastes that there's time for everything. It shows and signifies the importance of time and that we can't afford to misuse it.
Time is very important and that is why we ought to do whatever it is without hesitation and procrastination because tomorrow might be too late.
The song emphasizes about guidance and strength rooted in our christian faith. It also provides the urgeness and desire to God for strength to face and persevere life's challenges.
Life is full of limitations, struggle, uncertainty of the future and anxieties. The song encourages believers to have faith and seek God's face everyday in other to pull through life.
Do not forget that whatever we're facing in a particular time isn't the end of us and it's definitely not what God wants for us his children.
It's just for a while and soonest, he will come through for us to the glory of his name. Be cheerful and stay positive everytime.
Shalom!!!
Song lyrics
I'm only human, I'm just a woman
Help me believe in what I could be and all that I am
Show me the stairway I have to climb
Lord, for my sake teach me to take one day at a time
One day at a time, sweet Jesus
That's all I'm asking from You
Just give me the strength to do everyday
What I have to do
Yesterday's gone, sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine
Lord, help me today, show me the way
One day at a time
Do you remember when You walked among men?
Well Jesus, You know, if You're looking below, it's worse now than then
Cheating an stealing, violence and crime
So for my sake, teach me to take one day at a time

Bad news: Saying see you later to Hive! 👋
We didn't get the needed support to continue cXc.world on Hive, as our DHF proposal lacked votes, but [Good News Everyone] cXc.world will add a Markdown copy button, allowing you to easily share your music + music you find on Hive.
For now, we're on WAX, with tools you can use to mint your own Music/Media NFT collection.
