Injustice at its peak and it hurt my bones
Injustice at its peak,
And it hurt my bones,
The sky bleeds and there was an heavy downpour,
Hoping it washes our pain
But our heart bleeds the more
An innocent soul has just been masaccred
Brutally killed in cold blood
Life slipping out of him
As we plead for mercy
Our tears fell on dead ears
Groanings; Pain!
Blood; Innocent blood
Imjustice prevail! Again!
We hope that the soul of the dead
Torments the perpetrators of evil
They know the truth
But choose to be blind to it
Like a ghost, let the truth haunt them
And make them miserable
Injustice at its peak
And it hurt my bones

How hard it is that injustice prevails over love and truth. When injustice triumphs, evil settles on a throne that is difficult to topple and people lose confidence in human betterment.
This poem touches you deeply and tears you apart because several feelings come together in it that disarm you: the death of an innocent, violence, brutality and to top it all, injustice.
I hope injustice does not continue to reign in this poem and the truth prevails.
Thank you for sharing. Happy week. Cheers and greetings.
In this our society, injustice is a dish that is served daily. The innocent pay for the crimes and the powerful continue to apply the social yoke to the most oppressed.
Thanks for sharing.
Good day.
