John 8:31-32 (KJV) Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

A disciple is someone who has been taught and is willingly obeying the teachings he or she has received from his or her master. If we claim that we are the disciples of Jesus Christ, then we must be people who willingly obey his teachings. We can't claim to be His disciples and we refuse to accept His doctrines and commandments. A true disciple is someone who accepts the doctrines of Jesus Christ and also follows that doctrine. Anyone who is a disciple will not reject the doctrines of Jesus Christ. That person will willingly accept the doctrines and not only listen to it, he or she must obey and follow the doctrines.

Bro Eli Soriano clearly explained to us what we should know concerning being true disciples of Jesus Christ. He made us understand that anyone who is a disciple is someone who learns from his master. This means that we must come and learn from Jesus Christ. We must come and listen to the teachings of His words. We must study his words from the Bible.

When we have learned, we must obey the teachings which we have received. We must follow what we have learnt. So, to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ, someone must learn the Word of God and follow them.
