The Fruitful Heart. MCGI Topic Review

Matthew 13:3-9 (KJV) And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

In the mass indoctrination of the MCGI, we have been taught that there are four different hearts of men who are receiving the word of God. Three of these hearts are not fruitful while only one is fruitful. Every one who engages in one business or the other desires fruits. God desires fruits from us. It is not enough for us to come and listen every time, God requires that what we are learning, we should bring forth fruits of such. It is by the fruits that we bear that men know that we are the disciples of Jesus.

The Wayside Heart

The wayside heart is a fruitless heart. Bro Eli Soriano explained to us that the wayside hearts are those who allow the devil to steal from their hearts the Word of God that they received. There are every passing thing in the world to carry them away from the truth of God's Word. The permit fashion, entertainment, world pleasures, carnal desires, sexual immoralities and all sort of ungodly thing in the world to carry them away from the word of God. Such a heart cannot be fruitful in good works.

The Stony Heart

The stony heart is another heart that has no fruits unto repentance. It is hard and stuff. The word of God cannot put root into it. This type of heart is of the devil. No matter how many times such people hear the word of God, they can't repent because they do not allow the word of God to have effect in their lives. They are hardened in their sinful ways. They do not allow their flesh and pride to let the word of God they hear have an effect on them.

The Thorny Heart

Another fruitless heart is the thorny heart. The thorny heart is full of things which are capable of choking the word of God in them to dead. Their heart is overcrowded with carnality and materialism. They have no place for God in their heart. When they receive the Word of God, those things that preoccupy their hearts make it impossible for the word of God to grow and bear fruit. The thorny heart cannot be fruitful.

The Fruitful Heart

The fruitful heart is one that is completely free of distraction. It is focused perfectly on pleasing God. There is no preoccupation with materialism and carnality. Such a heart will bear fruits unto repentance.

We should bear fruits that glorify God as we keep listening to the doctrines of God as taught to us. We should obey the commandments of God. We should be true disciples of Jesus Christ Our Teacher. As you listen to the doctrines from Bro Eli Soriano, determine to follow them wholeheartedly and obey the commandments of God in all things.
