The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, Part 1. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW
Good morning from Nigeria to you brethren. I am pleased to be among the family of those who believe in the Bible and the true doctrines of Jesus Christ. It's the teachings of Jesus Christ that will lead us to the Father. Yesterday was Sunday. We have had our time of fellowshipping with God and worshiping Him. The Word of God was taught to us because in the church we received the word of God. We also prayed just as the Bible says that the house of God shall be called the house of prayers for many nations. We didn't forget to offer our thanksgiving offering unto our God for all the good things He has done unto us.
This video contains a teaching which is trying to explain the personality of the God-head. Bro Eli Soriano tries to explain the persons of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
The Bible is the book which contains the counsel of God to us. We must submit ourselves and listen to the teachings of the Bible for us to understand what the truth is. The Word of God is the truth. We can't have another Truth from any other source. This is why there is no other writing or lesson potent enough to underscore the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible.
In the subject of the trinity as we have known overtime, we know that we have one God. This one God is the one who created the entire universe and set it out as we have seen. We were taught that the revelation of the personality of God who created the universe and everything existing is The Father. We also learned that on the issue of salvation, God came down in the form of a human person to redeem humanity. The personality of God who came in the form of man is referred to as The Son. When Jesus left, He promised us that He will send The Holy Spirit who will abide with us. So, the Holy Spirit is the personality of God who is working among us and guiding us in all our daily living.
Contrary to these beliefs, Bro Eli Soriano explained in this video that The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are three different people. He explained this using the scenario at the baptism of Jesus Christ.
Knowing the truth is what will help us grow rightly in God. There are other parts of this teachings (as this is the part 1). We hope to understand it better as we listen to the complete series. May God help us and lead us to the truth.
