2 Thessalonians 1:6-7 (KJV) Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

The Bible assures us that God will recompense our afflictions. God will repay those who trouble us with trouble. He will fight our battles for us. That is a word of consolation. We should be rest assured with this that God will answer every of our trouble. God will repay our troublers with their due reward. We should have consolation in this.

No matter what hardship or suffering that we are passing through, God has not forgotten us. He is always there for our good. He knows what pains we are passing through and he will defend us.

Lamentations 3:33-35 (KJV) For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth,
To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,

God is not a wicked God. He is not like the idols which the heathens are worshiping. He is a loving Father. He won't afflict us willingly. He won't make us suffer unjustly. Whatever we are going through, He will turn all for our good.
