Hello Hive Open Mic community and my fellow music lovers!
It's another week with a beautiful theme and I'm happy to be here once again to share my song choice for the selected theme by our spotlight artist @nazatpt

I'm choosing to share the cover of the song titled "Hold On To Me" sang by "Lauren Daigle", for the theme of the week "Amistad".

I always want to make covers that connects very well to every theme except I'm not entering for that week's theme and so, I had a perfect song for this week. But I wasn't able to get it done because I wanted to do it with my sister as it's a song that would be perfect if sang by a duet.

Well, we will sing it someday but for now, I decided to choose an alternative and that happened to be another song from Lauren, whose songs I've sang a lot here recently. This song connects the theme to the friendship of God towards man.

The lyrics of the song tells a lot about what a friend can do for a friend when the situation calls for it, different situations with one solution... Holding on! The song is about asking God to hold one even when one doesn't want to agree that he needs help from Him.

I love this song, Lauren Daigle is just too good with lyrics. Her songs are always calming and reassuring. Beautiful rendition🤗🤗

Lauren Daigle songs are Just so powerful, this song is just like Rescue from Lauren too.
