Open Borders - A Proposal With Inevitable Disadvantageous Results

If I had confirmed the topic before the small discussion with my mum, I could have asked more questions to have her explain better what we were discussing as it is very much about the topic we're being given. I'm not so good with the knowledge about how Borders work anywhere but from what I've researched and the little mum talked about, I can say to a good extent what it means to have a closed or open Borders in the different countries.

Having the borders closed have been the norm from a very long time ago and this has limited a lot of this even there are still some lags here in my country as it is causing some disadvantages to it's citizen in some ways that could be avoided. A Proposal to open those borders, here in my country and all other countries will definitely cause a stir and the world will be in for an inevitable result both advantageous and disadvantageous ones... It's left for us to decide which to take the risk on.

An open border will guarantee a lot of opportunities alongside promote the insecurities we would not want to live with. It will be basically a free world if there are no borders, more like "No Rules" and we must have experienced or seen what it is like to live in a house with no rules... It's almost a living hell for some.

There are advantages to having the borders open...

Imagine having no restrictions to visit any country of your choice, you'd be able to meet other people of different culture and abilities, learn new skills that may have never been possible for you in your country. You get to mix up with the whole world, I think that is a very good advantage considering that it will promote the oneness we always preach about between our cultural diversity.

A no border land will provide more job opportunities as there are countries with less man power or skills looking for people to make a living there, there are some countries that lack job opportunities because of over population. People will easily go in search of countries where they fit in if there are no borders to stop them.

Items, food, services and skills will be cheaper and more available when the borders are open as you'd easily find people with the same skill, more items, good services and there will be a high competition which would bring down the cost of expenses. That would mean, a lot of people or goods will be priced down or not sell at all... This is the part I'll love more as the increase of things sold in my country is becoming insane by the day.

There are disadvantages to having the borders open

There are only a few I could think of now and those few are more than enough reason not to accept the proposal of having country borders open.

The insecurities will be insane, so insane that people could end up not leaving their house out of fear of being attacked for different reasons but could still get attacked inside their homes. Although the high increase in hon opportunities should help sort out the issue of theft, rituals and other money crimes but then, we are humans and there are just those humans who can't be less criminal no matter the opportunities given to them.

Over/under population is inevitable too as there will be countries with more people than some countries. Even I would choose the better countries to live in if I was given the freedom to decide where I live when the borders are opened. And this would lead to different disease outbreak that would affect a large population as it would be hard to curb when the population is too much.
