My First Encounter With Crypto - Cooperative Investment
About four years ago, what was the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum? Oh, how I keep wishing I had taken my money making serious back then but I never did, those years was when I even spent more than I saved, no plans to save up for rainy days since I had thought there was always going to be sunshine hehe. I'm not sure about the prices of both coins back then but I'm very sure I missed a good opportunity of buying holding them at a much cheaper price.
My first encounter with crypto wasn't so bad, and it wasn't so good either... I mean, I had the best information to get started with the investment but I never got the best guide on how to go about it. What do I mean?
It was like, everyone was talking about crypto especially Ethereum and Bitcoin for the first time everywhere I went to back then. Since it was my first time to know about cryptocurrency, I asked some questions to get acquainted with what it actually means to be involved in it. I guess I didn't ask the best person for such knowledge because I ended up not getting involved in it.
Until a few months later that year, I met a few friends who thought it wise to come together to buy some Ethereum coin and save it up for any possibility that it will go up and we will have a share in it. How we went about buying and sharing the token in our wallet is still a wonder to me.
I got so excited when I was told I could become a millionaire from holding that tiny Ethereum coin I had in my wallet someday, I think I had just 0.003 Ethereum 😅 I couldn't get a lot then since I was more of a spender than a saver but some of my friends then had more.
If it wasn't for their cooperative idea to get involved with crypto, I definitely wouldn't have been part of crypto back then. Even though I don't have any of that coin now since I didn't continue to invest like the others, I had an experience to remember and knowledge to keep.
I also got involved with Tron, Litcoin and Ripple investment and that even led me to educating people on how to store some digital money in their wallet. I still wonder how I was able to convince my aunt back then to buy a lot of Tron in her wallet even though she was never the digital type but would prefer to do buying and selling of goods and services haha.
I can't say I earned anything Dr all those investments but I gained knowledge of crypto that it exist and could turn people's life around. A year later, I found out about crypto blogging and got involved in a platform that paid me a coin. I didn't get to withdraw much from that platform before it collapsed.
I found Hive two years later which about two years ago and it has been from one sweet investment to another without the Cooperative approach which I find a bit crude now. More investments to do in the future and I believe Hive has a huge role to play in that for me.
What was your first encounter with crypto like?

My first encounter with crypto was through Steemit. I had a little cent of Ethereum then but my eyes couldn't stop staring at it and had to sell it off. Then, Bitcoin was very low and I was so young that I only spend more than I save too. Only if I had the knowledge back then, I could have been more than a millionaire today as I would have bought enough Bitcoin instead of spending lavishly.
But thanks to Hive today. I can still get some cryptos that are yielding more returns for me.
We regret but it's never too late and I'm glad we have Hive. We will have better stories to tell in the future 😊
Amen 🙏
