Aside the fact that a lot of artists release a new song to make money and hopefully get more people who will like their songs and support them even more, every song has their own stories behind them and that is one thing I always love to look into when I listen to a really beautiful song.

Well, that's for the artists and their songs but I want to share some songs that ring a bell from my past, they are songs with memories for me.

I started today as normal as I could but I made sure not to skip the part where I plugged in my ear phone to listen to some music. But it happened that I couldn't listen for long because I had a visitor (Would be rude to keep your ears that busy when someone came to keep you company).

But while we were chatting about different stuffs, my guest started to play some music and one of them sent me back to like 12 years ago (A memory that I smiled to).

Well, only one of the music was played and I found myself browsing through to get some other old blues like it... I decided to share three here today. The song my friend reminded me of was this 👇

Yes! A song from the popular artist Celine Dion and the vibe I got from the song felt like I had not listened to it before... It was so refreshing that I kept smiling while singing along with her on the song.

I'm alive has just the best lyrics to have one's mind soaring and feeling happy about oneself, the lyrics are still spelling out in my head.

The memory that came with this song to my head was when dad is about to do some house chores before leaving for work and he would play so many songs from this artist. He loved her songs so much and we automatically loved her too. Dad's dedication to taking care of my siblings and I comes to mind over again when I listen to this song or any of her songs.

I don't want to believe that many haven't listened to this song before but if you've not, you should listen to it.

Okay, this song may had mean something else to my dad but it meant another thing for me... Our dad's favourite for taking us to bed 😅 don't laugh at me if I tell you that I still find myself feeling sleepy when I hear this particular song and I'm on my bed... It worked like magic on us and I wonder who told dad about it 😂

Unbreakable is a song by the handsome music band guys Westlife released like 12 years ago and it is also one of my dad's favourite, he sings along with it a lot and that made us love their songs too. I'm a huge fan of Westlife songs, I guess Dad is to be blamed for that.

Of course, the song has it's own meaning it's sending to the listeners but it has a memory for me whenever I listen to it.

Ask me to sing this song, I would hum until the chorus part 😅 I mean, no matter the number of times I heard this song while growing up... I just can't seem to sing it well at least a little close to a cover of the song.

But while I listened to it today, I felt happy thinking back to years ago too... I guess that's it's essence to me for now until I can sing the song very well. This is also one of the songs dad used as lullaby for us and I love the calmness I get from the song.

From the artist to the lyrics of the song, I love it and I enjoyed thinking back to my past memories through these songs.

You should listen to them if you haven't yet, maybe create some memories with them like me... What do you think?

That is it for my entry to #ttt initiated by @ablaze and smiling to music, thanks for listening.

Thanks for sharing your favourite music. Out of the three, that of Michael Bolton speaks to me more.
Just like you I would hum till the chorus😂
I guess it's time I actually learnt how to sing it.

I'm Alive has to be one of those songs for me. It takes me to a different dimension with it's rhythm. And Westlife? I just can't say enough of how much I like those guys. They were my childhood boys. 😂😂
