Hello Hive Open Mic!!!

It's another amazing week with a great theme and I'm here with an entry that I think fits in perfectly. I really should find a way to put in my entry early enough henceforth, I'm always posting late because I want to learn the lyrics of the songs better before presenting it.

The song I selected for this week isn't a new one to me though but it's been long I last sang it so I had to do some relearning on it again.

Speechless is a song from the movie "Aladdin" if you might have already been familiar with it, the original is sang by "Naomi Scott" who happens to be the lead character in the movie. And I don't mean the animated version of "Aladdin" by the way.

A part of the movie is about a princess who tries to speak her mind, talk about her plans for the kingdom to her father, the King but is being shunned by her wicked and powerful uncle who thinks the kingdom discussions should be done by men and not a female.

I see oppression, discrimination and power abuse in this part of the story and her song fit right in so I decided to sing a cover of it for the theme "Fight Oppression" chosen by our own @indonesiabersatu for this week and I hope you do enjoy my cover, I welcome any corrections for improvement.

I love the lyrics in this song, and Lovely tune. You doing this song beautifully my friend.
I also love the history behind it and who doesn't love Alladin right? 😁
