Her Saving Grace - The Final Relief

In her dream, Becky wore a gown she used to love during her childhood, she walked towards a lady standing with her back to Becky. Becky was curious about the lady and why she was at the place she found herself, it felt like she was in the middle of life and death and wanted to find a way out of it by all means.

Who are you? Why am I here? Becky asked and realized that her voice sounded very young and tiny like it was during her childhood.

You're here to talk about you, something you've not done for a very long time... The lady still backing Becky replied her.

Becky immediately hit her head trying to wake herself up as everything felt more weirder than when she first appeared there. She was her tiny little self, holding a favourite dessert of hers and having so many thoughts in her head about how she wanted her adult life to be.

What is happening? Am I in a time travel or something? Why aren't these thoughts going away? I want them gone!!! Becky kept asking questions with an increasing volume in her voice.

You've been avoiding those thoughts and you would remain here if you can't fight those thoughts and stay true to yourself... The lady said turning to face Becky. Becky was shocked to see herself talking to her. The lady was her older self and she was her tiny little girl of years back.

What exactly is going on? I'm scared, mum and dad would be disappointed in me if they know I have these thoughts. They want me to be the best in everything I do and not have these silly thoughts of a child... Becky kept ranting what made sense to why she had been having constant headaches.

She was a sweet little girl who loved to explore new things, enjoy her favourite games, having fun while studying moderately to at least pass every course in school. But her parents demanded more from her, she became possessed with being the best after her mum called "a dumb girl".

Little Becky immediately realized that she had been locking up her desires somewhere which had overtime began to cause headache for her, she just didn't think it was her locked desires that was the reason until she found herself in the dream.

Her older self pleaded with her to let loose her desires and live life well enough, she wished that she focus on being her best self than being the best at some company that wouldn't be worth it when she dies.

Becky shed tears and wished she could have a do-over of her life, she wished to be her true self again and set things right. Immediately she made the wish, Becky found herself in the hospital being crowded by so many medical personnel trying to bring her back to life.

She was able to go back home that day, had a long sleep and called her Fiance asking that they go on a vacation. Even though he had a tight schedule, he rescheduled for their vacation as he had never been given such an opportunity to be with her in a long time.

Becky decided to stop working at the company with the hope of exploring all she had been missing out on. The company wished she remained but was more happy to see the bright changes in their most hardworking and one faced worker, Becky.

Life without having to meet deadlines or expectations, Becky felt more happier and never had the headache again. She got married to her Fiance and they did a world tour for their honeymoon, it was a happily ever after for her as she lived the life she had always wanted.
