Best Birthday Celebration - A Photo Playback 24:21

I saw the prompt and 24:21 (24th of July, 2021) came to mind immediately, it has been a birthday celebration I find memorable and would choose to write for prompts like this. It's almost 4 birthdays away and I've had other beautiful birthday celebrations after it but there's so much about that year's birthday that made me tag it the best until another comes.

I've said it before that I wasn't one of those whose family marked birthdays until I could prepare for my birthdays myself. You could imagine the happiness I had when I spent for my birthday celebration from money I worked for.

The first birthday I spent on myself happened on 24th July, 2021.

It is my favourite simply for this reason, and a lot of first times happened that day for me both the ones I could share here and the ones I can't. What's important is that, I'm glad to have gone through that day and be here to replay and talk about it today.

My dad would always say "Happy birthday my Queen", and that's it with an easy day for me as he wouldn't want me to do any hard work on my special day. I valued that through out my birthdays and I still do even before last three years own. But to be honest, last three years birthday left a sweet memory in my head.

The sweet memories from my birthday in 2021 didn't start on the 24th but on the day I went out with my friends in preparation for my big day. It was supposed to be a simple celebration since I planned to use my money for everything but the excitement got the best part of me and somehow it went from simple to what I'll call, perfect at that time.

I did a photo shoot after I bought new wears and hair (added a few of the photos and a video in the post for your view). And the day finally came.

I got a shocking and cold bath from my neighbours, and my friends showed up with beautiful gifts including a cake in my favourite colour. If there is a day I never stopped smiling until I slept off at night, it was on that birthday. I was almost in tears as the happiness was too much for me.

My friends took me out to get pizza, I was forced to dance until I started to enjoy the dancing myself and just kept dancing. You need to see my dance moves, wish I could share it here but no 😂 I could tell my friends had fun as much as I did and I liked how they made me a star for that day.

I can't even start talking about the celebration I felt online, so many people in my DM, some just dedicated their status to me for the whole day, I kept seeing both old and ancient pictures of me everywhere and my younger sis was one of them. She actually made a video that took me back in time and made me laughing even more.

I made this video that same year, it's amazing to find it again on a day like this. I have two birthday memories stored on threespeak now, hopefully more will come in. In this video, you'll be able to get a better glimpse of how my day went although I didn't get to add some beautiful memories to it.
