4 Tips For Maximizing Guild Brawls For New Players | Splinterlands #386

One area of the game that I don't see many new players getting involved in is the Guild Brawls. Brawls are where guilds battle against each other for rewards like SPS and Merits. These are important for both your guild's progression and your success in the game. Let us dive into some essential tips and strategies for brawls to help you get the most out of this competitive feature.

Understanding the Brawl Structure

In splinterlands brawls, each guild member participates in one Fray. A Fray is similar to an individual battle but with specific restrictions regarding card editions, levels, and sometimes even foils. It is obvious, please select a Fray that matches your splinterlands deck's capabilities. I made a mistake in the past when I joined an Untamed edition Fray and did very poorly as my main account does not have many high-level Untamed cards.

Tip: Always double-check the level and edition restrictions for each Fray before committing. Pick a Fray that you will be competitive in and help your guild win!

The Power of Gladiator Cards

The Bloodlust ability that all Gladiator cards should not be ignored. When a Gladiator card kills an enemy, its stats are boosted, making it a powerful trump card that can quickly turn the tide of a battle. However, Gladiator cards can only be used in specific brawl Frays that allow them. By joining brawls, you can earn Merits which you will use to open Gladius packs and acquire Gladiator cards.

Tip: Bloodlust is an ability that can turn the tide of a match, so having Gladiator cards in your deck is necessary for long-term success in brawls.

Filling Frays

Whatever guild you join, your guild should aim to fill as many Frays as possible because each filled Fray represents an opportunity to earn points for your guild. Even if you do not win every battle, participation matters. This increases your guild's chances of winning rewards. The guild needs to assess what decks each member has and then strategically get those to fill out Frays where they will be most competitive. Also, players with Gold Foil decks should be focused on filling Frays requiring Gold Foil cards.

Tip: Use the guild chat function to coordinate and collaborate to ensure Frays are filled strategically.

Be Consistent

One sure way to make the most of your splinterlands experience is to remain consistent. This will make sure you are making the most of the in-game economy. Consistently completing your Brawl battles ensures that you are helping not only your guild but also yourself. All rewards earned can be reinvested into building a more well-rounded deck.

Tip: Be consistent, and reinvest the rewards that will allow you to make the most of your splinterlands experience.

Concluding Thoughts

Participating in brawls not only helps your guild progress but also offers valuable rewards like SPS and Merits. Most importantly, consistency is critical - regular participation and reinvestment of rewards can significantly enhance your deck and overall game performance. So, if you are serious about progressing in splinterlands, dive into Guild Brawls, support your team, and grow stronger with every battle.
