Jugo de Manga Briteña [Esp/Eng]
Mango is a very well known and desired fruit in Venezuela. Of this fruit we find different varieties, each one with its own particular characteristics, such as mangos criollos, dudu mangos, pineapple mangos, among others.
The trees of this fruit are mostly planted for many years, every mango season you can see on their floors the fruits that fall on their own, those who like this fruit get up very early to pick them, these in urban sites where in front of their houses still keep these trees; this is the case in the area where I live.
The MANGA BRITEÑA, the protagonist of this post, is a tree that is located in a corner near my house, it is approximately 80 years old, it was planted by one of the first founders of this sector, bringing its seed from a town on Margarita Island. Every year it gives us its delicious fruits, although there are some who do not like its flavor, the shape of this one is very different from the others. The tree that accompanied him fell a few years ago after a windstorm that occurred, this one still keeps offering its fruits.
There are those who protect it by lowering its sleeves, but there are others who hurt it.
Para elaborar este jugo, se utilizó:
-6 mangas
-8 tazas de agua
-Licuadora
-Cuchillos
-Envases
-Cucharillas
-Coladera
To make this juice, the following was used:
-6 sleeves
-8 cups of water
-Blender
-Knives
-Packaging
-Spoons
-Strainer
From this quantity of fruits, the result gave about two liters of juice, no sugar was used, it is left to the taste of the person who takes it, as they come very sweet from nature.

Due to the amount of pulp and water, this blending process was done in two parts in order to make better use of the packaging, so that the pulp is well processed.
When the pulp is finished processing, a step that perhaps some people prefer not to do is to pass it through the strainer to eliminate the strands from the liquefier.
Once strained, the remaining strands of the sleeve can be observed, eliminating these makes the juice obtained can be appreciated with a very delicate and delicious texture on the palate of the mouth.
Already served, ready to be consumed, appreciating the sweetness of this kind of mango (manga briteña), without sugar.
It was enjoyed at home, with a wonderful taste. Many compliments when consumed and delighted with the sweetness of this drink.
