The Curse Phase 2 in No Man's Sky

Greetings! Welcome to my gaming blog, No Man's Sky. Today, I continued my Expedition #16 adventures. After completing phase 1, I entered the portal that brought me to the Temerifi X System. There were five planets in that system: Ecorsfi, Oteusiu Hosh, Urston, Rubhanbea Major, and Socill V30. I was spawned on Planet Ecorsfi, a bountiful planet.

Phase 2 consists of five missions: the edge of glass (approach the boundary's limit), beyond death (excavate ancient), hewn from light (crystals), fear the sun (tunnel underground), and breach two (enter the second portal).

The first mission needs me to spend time with the low boundary integrity. At first, I didn't have any idea what it was, so I kept running and let my boundary strength percentage decrease. At 20%, the spectral annomalies started to attack me like crazy; I must survive 3 minutes of this insanity. At 100 seconds, my shield was down, and I started to pay more attention so I didn't get hit by the spectrals. I ran and sprinted for over 8000 units, so far until all of a sudden I completed the well-ground mission (phase 3's). So 80 seconds without shield was a thrilling experience; I don’t want to die and start over! The reward for completing two missions was great. It helps my exosuit and starhip a lot!

While I was doing the second mission, I came across this unique creature. It looks like a giant spider with a very unique appearance. I crated creature pellets and tamed the creature. It is now called Gulotto, my first companion in this expedition. I ride Gulotto in searching for the ancient bones. The storm doesn't affect me much now since my exosuit upgrade from the previous mission reward came to really great aids. I found another unique creation; it looks like a fox! a planty frame fox. LOL, I don’t know.. When I excavated all ancient bone in one area, I called my ship and moved further to search another burial area. I worked well; the mission was completed after digging four different burial areas and excavating 10 ancient bones. I get more technology upgrades for my exosuit, starship, and multitool.

For the third mission, I need to move to a planet that contains activated copper. For that, I have two choices: Planet Oteusius Hosh or Planet Urston. I decided and flew to Planet Oteusiu Hosh, a gamma-intensive planet. During my journey to the planet, I came across a merchant ship. I sold all ancient bones and made profits. When I entered the planet's atmosphere, I could not find any land for a while. The storm that hit the planet during that time made the vision much more blurred during my searching for the land. I can see the sea was raging during the storm.

I finally found land after heading north for a few minutes. I landed and walked around searching for possible crystal stones and waited for the storm to hit because the crystal can only be extracted during the storm. I also found an abandoned building surrounded by whispering eggs, which I don’t want to mess with.

When I was walking toward the second area of storm crystal, something happened. A strong hurricane wind blew me up high into the clouds! I have never experienced this before! And, when I successfully landed, a bunch of sentinel drones came to visit with bad intention! I ran! I ran until the sentinel lost track of me and deactivated. Not only sentinel, the spectral also keep distracting me.

Fear the Sun mission required me to make a tunnel underground. So I search for a high ground, a mountain's peak, to be my starting point for digging straight down. After a few excavations, I soon realised that it's not how deep I dug, but the area of my excavation also counts. It was an easy mission.

The sentinel drones were really active on this planet. When I attempted to farm more mordite for the elixir of blood, I got caught immediately. I was lucky to have a cloacking device with me; it helped me escape really fast.

There were many mystery places I discovered on the planet, but I need to complete phase 2 asap. The time is ticking; I have 10 days left to complete the expedition. I have 2/5 phases completed, but that's enough for today. I hope I manage to complete all phases before the time runs out and post my adventure in this community.
