CONTAIN SPOILER : Why i think AOT end is bad (part 1/2)

You probably know the manga/anime Attack On Titan, and i just ended watching the episode 32 of the fourth season. The series is now ended and I always loved this series but this end was bad/mid let me explain why.

-Quick list of reasons :

• unlogical
• "hero washing"
• to much "new"

Let's separate the episode 32 in two part :
Part A is from the start of the episode till ~45min (end of the first team fight)
Part B is everything else

It's unlogical because when Armin/Mikasa and the other started fighting Eren. Eren shouldn't have lost. Why ? Let me explain in the chronological order.

First the arrival,
With a plane that isn't even supposed to be that quick they can easily dodge a lot of stone trowed by one of the most power full titan.
If it happened once one or two stone, OK it might have been luck but it happens twice and both time they need to dodge over 10 stones.

Then after fighting for some minutes then are loosing and conny end up in this situation
with tons of titans ready to eat him in 5 secondes, but guess what he's going to wait there for a few minutes and only one titan will try to eat him.

Then after they lost all hope of winning,

and for no reason at all, The first flying titan was born. A kid literally only imagine clouds and then think : Hmmm I see clouds it means i can fly.
It's the best example of the french sentence Ta geule, c'est magique.
Shut up, it's magic. It mean you don't need to understand it's literally there by magic don't ask to much question.

To be clear, without this absolutely free new ability with no reason at all to exist the fight was already lost.

Well if we forget this free magic power up, we can see the only good moment of the 40 first minutes
Soldiers and Eldians pointing guns at each other instead of helping each other 5 minutes before the end of the world.

These are the most human characters.

Then

a kid who is a flying titan for the first time of his life gonna dodge with no difficulty at all something like 50 arrows.

During all this time
one of the hammer titan could have killed this titan trying to kill eren but though it was better to just wait till the titan he is holding have enough energy to escape.

Nothing to say about Reiner for the moment just rember he can't handle a few "clone titan"

Then armin talk to Sieg

after saying to Sieg he should enjoy small moment of life like being alive, Sieg and Armin then ask to all the previous titan owner to join the aliance agaisn't Eren
The previous owner randomly appears in this imaginary world, Why ? Shut up, it's magic. And all decided to join Armin. Why ? Because Armin angel and Eren is the devil and then they all take possession of there titan.

And bim, and boom, bam.

Sieg surrender because Armin talked 5 minutes with him, then got killed.
All the giant titans stopped to walk.

Armin that seem to become a sort of good of the titan, transform in titan and the transformation make a explosing like the explosion of a nuclear bomb but reiner was still there half dead after fighting with "clone titans". He almost died to a few swords but survived a nuke.
Why ? Shut up, it's magic.

At this point the first 43 minutes of the film are ended. I clearly see a lot of random things/ lot of luck in favor of the one trying to kill Eren.

Let's just rember everyone army.

Eren is there with the original titan, Ymir the creator of titans, Hundreads of the best titans and he is about to loose against 5 Humans 3 Titan and 1 kid titan and a normal kid. Before they got the help of something like 7 other person (Sieg didn't fight).

That's why i said it's unlogical, the to much "new" is about that both time when Armin army almost loost there was a new way to win. First the flying titan and then the old titan from the imaginary desert.

The hero washing is more a personal view of what happens in part A, it's just all the "Heros" against the bad vilain Eren and everything should be there to help the heros win.

In the second part we learn a lot of thing but i will explain what i think about what is explained in the second part of the episode another time.

Without assessing who is the good/bad let's just think why AOT was always so cool to watch/read. It's because you never knew what was about to happen. Well it's the same here but the two new events are simply gifts from the author to the Armin side to let them win. Giving Eren full power and then making him loose against people with not such power. Simply a free gift.

The part B is a long part about the story of the anime with no action so it will take more time to make a post writing all happening in it and my opinion about it.

Note that i watched the anime and in the manga version it might be a little bit different.
