Santiago de Cuba, as the night falls.

Hello friends!! I come to show you a very beautiful city, which despite the adversities and problems it faces, does not stop shining. I am talking about the city of Santiago de Cuba, located in the province of the same name in a hot country, Cuba, a small island in the Caribbean. This city with colonial and eclectic nuances is full of wonders.

At night, it is when Santiago shines the most, from sunset with those nuances and colors that hypnotize.A feeling of warmth and comfort invades your entire body.

A city with several churches and ancient constructions, many of them gloomy, dark, mistreated, and neglected by time, without losing their beauty.

This is where I go for today, but I hope to continue sharing more about this city lost in time, about its wonders and secrets. Thank you for reading❤️

Hello! Thank you very much for posting on the Worldmappin Community. We would like to remind you that one of the rules of our community is to pin your post to our map. This will give your post more reach, as well as have the chance to be featured in our daily Travel Digest 😃.

Quick guide on how to do it.

1 - Go to https://worldmappin.com

2 - Find the location of your publication on the map, you can do this by scrolling on the map or using the search bar.

3 - Click on the GET CODE button and then click on the exact location of your publication: a code snippet will be generated.

4 - Copy the code and paste it into the draft of your Hive post. Then publish it :)

The code will be invisible in your post, but a few minutes after publishing you will receive a comment informing you that your post has been added to the map.

Or you can directly pin you post in the map via PeakD. After drafting your post, click the map icon at the bottom. It's beside "Short preview description" and above the "Advanced" icon.

We suggest you read all the rules of our community here.

For any other questions, don't hesitate to contact our team on our Discord channel.

Cheers!

Dang, that picture of the church is just masterpiece!
I really appreciate its vibe.
And the pic of that sunset? Girl, legit. Can you believe it reminds me of Malibu? Crazy!

Santiago holds many stories as a city. If you stop to read some chronicles about the streets, you'll be amazed on how many interesting tales we have. May I recommend a book? It's called "Personajes y pasajes en Santiago de Cuba (Siglo XIX)", by Olga Portuondo Zúñiga. Give it a try.
Thank you! 😊

You've got some nice shots here. There's a couple more steps I guess I should've explained to getting your travel posts on the map, @worldmappin left step-by-step instructions. It's easy.

Good luck.
