No Doubt, a famous American rock band formed in 1986, gained significant attention for their captivating blend of ska, punk, and pop influences. Led by the charismatic Gwen Stefani, No Doubt topped the music charts with memorable tracks like "Don't Speak" and "Just a Girl."

Apart from their well-known songs, there is a collection of underrated music by No Doubt that deserves recognition. In this article, I will discuss three underrated No Doubt songs, highlighting their exceptional musical arrangements and delving into the lyrical depth that sets them apart from the band's more popular tracks.

"New" (2000):

"New," a lively and infectious single from No Doubt's album "Return of Saturn," is one of their underrated songs. The song's opening guitar riff immediately grabs my attention with its upbeat vibe. By seamlessly blending No Doubt's ska influences with their signature pop sound, "New" perfectly embodies the true essence of their ska-inspired style.

The lyrics of "New," written by Gwen Stefani, express introspection and a yearning for personal growth. The chorus encourages me to embrace change and step outside my comfort zone. Despite its undeniable appeal and profound lyrics, "New" often goes unnoticed by others.

"End It on This" (1995):

"End It on This," an underrated song from No Doubt's breakthrough album "Tragic Kingdom," showcases their versatility and exceptional songwriting skills. The song incorporates elements of punk, ska, and reggae, creating a vibrant yet melancholic atmosphere.

The lyrics explore the challenges of relationships and moving forward. Gwen Stefani's soulful performance infuses the song with emotional depth, making it truly memorable. While "End It on This" remains relatively unknown to some listeners, it displays No Doubt's ability to combine captivating melodies with inspiring themes.

"Home Now" (1997):

The song "Home Now" is featured on No Doubt's album "Tragic Kingdom." This track shows the band's talent for crafting poignant and moving ballads, often overshadowed by the album's more popular singles.

Gwen Stefani's powerful vocals immediately grab my attention as she sings about the longing for identity and the desire to return to a place that feels like home. "Home Now" is another underrated song that deserves greater recognition for its musicality and emotionally impactful delivery.

Mmmm I guess not... But that doesn't take away from the fact that it might incentivize me to listen to more of their music!!!.

¡¡¡¡What a great way to share fascinating groups!!!! 😎

I think the problem is that all my life I've listened to salsa, bachata, rancheras, merengues, classical music and some romantic ballads. :c

But it's time to include more to the list!!!!. 😎😎💪🏻

Great choice of tunes. When thinking about No Doubt, they wouldnt be the ones I would normally first go to, but they are pretty good on the ear in their own way and quite enjoyable. Thanks!
