Hayhi. I do not mean to overstep and apologize, if I'm being presumptuous in any way...
But maybe you can feel inspired by your own funk. The word Funk, the genre of music, the evolution of it in Brazil...This has been an ongoing conversation in my household for about a week..because it's so interesting...and my ladyfriend/housemate was curious as an english-learner...quite proficient, she is...but well, you maybe can imagine that this one word in particular has so many applications and connotations, it could make anybody wonder...I keep thinking it could make for an interesting piece of writing... but I haven't done it, obvio...Tell us about your funk then, if you please...the most delicious cheese is just cultivated funk, after all, not to be too corny...but so is huitlacoche. beso
The best I can say is that it is a sort of ennui, the yawn that sleep can not abate. Uninspired and lazy, I have even let the weeds in my garden grow beyond where I would like them.
On a side note, thank you. A kind, inquisitive voice from across the globe is a welcome addition to my daily routine. Perhaps your words of advice will act as a panacea to my "funk". And I do love some cheese!

I feel you...😉 Your handle grabbed my attention as well...i knew a guy who went by "Spork" in my teens... or at least that is what everybody called him; I never knew him by any other name...I don't know if he used that on the internet as a handle...but in live-life... :O
Similar situation. Never used the moniker as a nickname, but since I was a teen I have used it in nearly every online presence I have. I haver always loved the utility of the spork as a utensil, and had a theory about a mirrored sphere. The two just married together as an idea and stuck as "mirroredspork".
