The Hottest Day I've Ever Had. (EN-TR) Geçirdiğim En Sıcak Gün.

How are you? I hope you are fine. I am also good. Today, as I look at the photos of last week and the previous week, I think of the hottest day I've ever experienced. So I decided to tell what I did that day and how I felt in that heat. By the way, I must say in advance that I am absolutely overwhelmed. I went out to buy tomatoes early in the morning, before the sun came up, and I saw such a purple colored machine.

Nasılsınız? Umarım iyisinizdir. Ben de iyiyim. Bugün geçen haftanin ve önceki haftanın fotoğraflarına bakarken aklıma bugüne kadar yaşadığım en sıcak gün geldi. Ben de o gün yaptıklarımı ve o sıcakta nasıl hissettiğimi anlatmaya karar verdim. Kesinlikle bunaldığımı şimdiden söylemeliyim bu arada. Sabah erken bir saatte henüz güneş tepeye çıkmadan domates almak için dışarı çıktım ve dışarıda böyle mor renkli bir iş Makinesi gördüm.

When I got home, I fried eggs, peppers and tomatoes. After adding some olives, cheese and cucumbers, my breakfast, the first meal of the day, was ready. Fried tomatoes are one of my favorite things. I love fried tomatoes especially for breakfast or any meal of the day. These days, I like to watch Mastercheff Türkiye program while having breakfast. In the morning, the program is a repeat of the previous day.

Eve dönünce yumurta, biber ve domatesleri kızarttım. Biraz zeytin, peynir ve salatalık koyduktan sonra günün ilk öğünü olan kahvaltım hazırdı. Kızartılmış domates en sevdiğim şeylerden birisidir. Özellikle kahvaltıda ya da günün herhangi bir öğününde kızartılmış domates çok severim. Bugünlerde kahvaltı yaparken Mastercheff Türkiye programını izlemeyi seviyorum. Sabahları programın önceki gününün tekrarı oluyor.

I don't remember exactly what day it was in the past weeks, but when I looked at the weather forecast, it was 36 degrees. 36 degrees air is actually very hot when we think about it, but even more strangely, the actual temperature is not the number written there, but the temperature felt. We felt that the temperatures were around 41 degrees that day. This is dangerously hot weather for those who stay indoors or those who work outside under the sun.

Geçen haftalarda tam olarak hangi gün olduğunu hatırlamıyorum ama hava durumuna baktığımda hava 36 derece görünüyordu. 36 derece hava aslında düşündüğümüzde cok sıcak ama daha da garibi var ki o da aslında gerçek sıcaklık orada yazan sayı değil de hissedilen sıcaklıktır. O gün sıcaklıkların yaklaşık 41 derece olduğunu hissediyorduk. Bu da kapalı alanlarda kalanlar için ya da dışarıda güneşin altında çalışanlar için çok tehlikeli derecede sıcak bir hava.

That day, I bought milk and probiotic yoghurt yeast from the market. I was going to make yogurt when I got home. After boiling the milk for a few minutes and waiting for it to cool down to 45 degrees, I fermented the yogurt using probiotic yeast. It was a medium solid yogurt and only took 5 hours to ferment. Much faster than the yogurts my mother made. I usually start eating yoghurt right after fermenting it. But my mother keeps the yogurt in the refrigerator for 1 day.

O gün marketten süt ve probiyotik yoğurt mayası da almışım. Eve dönünce yoğurt yapacaktım. Birkaç dakika sütü kaynattıktan sonra 45 dereceye kadar soğumasını bekledikten sonra probiyotik mayayı kullanarak yoğurdu mayaladım. Orta dercede katı bir yoğurt oldu ve mayalanması sadece 5 saat sürdü. Annemin yaptığı yoğurtlara göre çok daha hızlı. Ben genelde yoğurdu mayaladıktan hemen sonra yemeye başlarım. Ama annem yoğurdu 1 gün buzdolabında bekletir.

We had to go to an international festival in that hot weather that day. There was a concert we wanted to go to there. Yasar Concert. After breakfast, I set out. The weather was so hot that day that the cats were so overwhelmed by the heat.

O gün o sıcak havalarda uluslararası bir festivale gitmemiz gerekiyordu. Orada gitmek istediğimiz bir konser vardı. Yaşar Konseri. Kahvaltı yaptıktan sonra yola çıktım. O gün hava o kadar sıcaktı kediler sıcaktan dolayı çok bunaldı.

Cats are really cute. I laugh a lot when I see a cat sitting like this.

Kediler gerçekten çok tatlı. Bu şekilde oturan kedi gördüğüm zaman çok gülerim.

I went to the international festival by metrobus. It was cool and nice because the air conditioners worked in the metrobuses. Otherwise, it is even possible to die from the heat in this weather. What you see in this photo is something done at the festival in a few days. They glued capacitors and circuit boards to the sphere. It's great art.

Uluslararası festivale metrobüs ile gittim. Metrobüslerde klimalar çalıştığı için serin ve güzeldi. Yoksa bu havalarda sıcaktan ölmek bile mümkün. Bu fotoğrafta gördüğünüz şey birkaç gün içinde festivalde yapılan bir şey. Küreye kondansatör ve devre kartları yapıştırmışlar. Harika bir sanat.

They glued plastic and wooden things on this sphere. I think this sphere is much more artistic and beautiful than the other sphere. But I actually like things more related to technology.

Bu kürenin üzerine de plastik ve tahta şeyler yapıştırmışlar. Bence bu küre diğer küreye göre çok daha sanatsal ve güzel. Ama ben teknoloji ile alakalı olan şeyleri daha çok severim aslında.

This is an instrument called Kumuz from a country called Dagestan. It is very different according to our culture, but we can say that it is like a reed. Since this festival we finished that day was international, there were different things from about 10 countries.

Bu da Dağıstan isimli bir ülkeden Kumuz diye bir çalgı. Bizim kültürümüze göre çok farklı ama saz gibi diyebiliriz. O gün bittiğimiz bu festival uluslararası olduğu için yaklaşık 10 ülkeden farklı farklı şeyler vardı.

The international festival I mentioned was in Büyükçekmece. Büyükçekmece is my favorite district in Istanbul. So after the festival, we went to the lake and sat there. What you see in this photo is the Mimar Sinan Bridge.

Bahsettiğim uluslararası festival Büyükçekmecedeydi. Büyükçekmece İstanbul' da en sevdiğim ilçe. O yüzden festivalden sonra biraz göle gidip orada da oturduk. Bu fotoğrafta gördüğünüz şey Mimar Sinan Köprüsü.

Apart from Büyükçekmece, there is also the Suleiman the Magnificent Bridge in Küçükçekmece. But until Küçükçekmece, Mimar Sinan Bridge was much smaller than this bridge.

Büyükçekmece' nin dışında bir de Küçükçekmecede de Kanuni Sultan Süleyman köprüsü var. Ama Küçükçekmece' dek Mimar Sinan Köprüsü bu köprüye göre çok daha küçüktü.

Although it was very hot during the day that day, the evening was cool. So I can say that we had a good day.
