Hello everyone 🤗
How are you today? I am enjoying cloudy and cool weather these days. I have always wanted the climate of Istanbul to be like the climate of London. So if it rained almost every day, it would actually be exactly what I wanted. I went to this restaurant named Güler before I moved from Bursa to Istanbul last year. Today I want to share with you my experience with that restaurant.

Bugün nasılsınız? Ben bugünlerde bulutlu ve serin havaların tadını çıkarıyorum. Her zaman İstanbul' un ikliminin Londra iklimi gibi olmasını istemişimdir. Yani neredeyse her gün yağmur yağsa aslında tam istediğim gibi olur. Geçen yıl Bursa' dan İstanbul' a taşınmadan önce Güler isimli bu restorana gitmiştim. Bugün size o restoran ile ilgili deneyimimi paylaşmak istiyorum.

The restaurant has a menu of several pages. As you can see here on the first page of the menu, there are foods such as kebab, soup and dessert. I prefer the ones with chicken the most.

Restoranın birkaç sayfalık bir menüsü var. Menünün ilk sayfasında burada gördüğünüz gibi kebap, çorba ve tatlı gibi yiyecekler var. Ben en çok tavuklu olanları tercih ediyorum.

There are pita varieties on the second page. There are types of pita with meat, chicken, cheese and vegetables. There are so many types of pita bread that you might be surprised which one to choose. I love to eat such pitas since I was little. Especially the pide with cheese and sausage.

İkinci sayfada pide çeşitleri var. Etli, tavuklu, kaşarlı ve sebzeli pide türleri var. O kadar çok pide çeşidi var ki hangisini seçeceğinize şaşırabilirsiniz. Küçüklüğümden beridir böyle pideleri yemeyi çok severim. Özellikle kaşarlı ve sucuklu pideleri.

This page of the menu also has a variety of drinks. I generally prefer buttermilk. Back then, I never drank sugary drinks like cola, but I've been on a rare occasion for the past few months. Coke tastes good when it's cold 😅

Menünün bu sayfasında da içecek çeşitleri var. Ben genelde ayran tercih ederim. O zamanlarda asla kola gibi şekerli içecekler içmezdim ama son birkaç aydır nadiren de olsa içiyorum. Kola soğuk olunca çok iyi oluyor 😅

We went there with 3 people to eat. And because we liked the food so much, we wanted to taste most of them. So the three of us said different things and ate them all, tasting them. As you can see here, there is mixed pita and pita with meat cubes. Mixed pita had Turkish style pastrami. One of my favorite foods 😋😋😋

Oraya yemek yemek için 3 kişi gittik. Ve yemekleri çok beğendiğimiz için çoğunun tadına bakmak istiyorduk. O yüzden üçümüz de farklı şeyler söyledik ve hepsinin tadına bakarak yedik. burada gördüğünüz gibi karışık pide ve kuşbaşılı pide var. Karışık pidede Türk usulü pastırma vardı. Beni en sevdiğim şeylerden birisi 😋😋😋

The pita in this photo is also a pita with cheese, but as you can see in the top photo, it is a closed pita, not an open one. In this way, the cheese in the pita stays hot longer and becomes more fluid.

Bu fotoğraftaki pide de kaşarlı pide ama üst fotoğrafta gördüğünüz gibi açık değil kapalı bir pide. bu şekilde pidedeki peynir daha uzun süre sıcak kalıyor ve daha akışkan oluyor.

Here are the grilled chicken wings. There's also some lettuce, onions, bulgur and roasted tomatoes. I love roasted tomatoes. Especially barbecued tomatoes are as delicious as meat for me. Chicken wings were delicious and very tender.

Burada ızgara tavuk kanatları var. Ayrıca biraz marul, soğan, bulgur ve közlenmiş domates de var. Ben kozlenmiş domates çok severim. Özellikle mangalda yapılan domatesler en az et kadar lezzetlidir benim için. Tavuk kanatları çok lezzetliydi ve çok yumuşaktı.

This restaurant is a restaurant in the north of the city, so it is very far from the center of the city. There are dams, forests and fields there. That's why the air is so clean. What you see in this photo is a small irrigation canal leading from the dam to the fields. During the summer season, water passes through this irrigation canal all day. The sound of this water at night is very peaceful.

Bu restoran şehrin kuzeyinde bir restoran yani şehrin merkezine çok uzak. Orada barajlar, ormanlar ve tarlalar var. O yüzden hava çok temiz. bu fotoğrafta gördüğünüz şey barajdan tarlalara doğru giden küçük bir sulama kanalı. Yaz mevsiminde bu sulama kanalından bütün gün su geçer. Geceleri bu suyun sesi çok huzur vericidir.

I would love to go to that restaurant again one day. Every dish they make is delicious.
