Hoy Salimos A Nuestra Primera Visita A Pacientes 2024 Y Como Siempre Hive Estuvo Presente (Esp/Ing)

Hoy el equipo de @medicalroute nos complace compartir con ustedes nuestra primera visita social del año, tenemos muchos planes para este 2024 y queremos cumplirlos todos así que decidimos empezar lo más pronto. Esta es nuestra primera visita de muchas que nos esperan y no podía dejar de compartir con ustedes esto que tanto amamos hacer, de antemano quiero agradecer el apoyo de los médicos y personas que nos prestaron su apoyo el día de hoy incluyendo a @mariaramos, @dravikysu, @drrafa2020 y por supuesto a @maykit55 todas estás personas hicieron posible nuestro día y que el trabajo saliera impecable sin más que agradecer ahora sí les cuento que tal estuvo nuestro día.
Today the @medicalroute team is pleased to share with you our first social visit of the year, we have many plans for this 2024 and we want to fulfill them all so we decided to start as soon as possible. This is our first visit of many that await us and I could not help but share with you what we love to do, first of all I want to thank the support of the doctors and people who gave us their support today including @mariaramos, @dravikysu, @drrafa2020 and of course @maykit55 all these people made our day possible and that the work came out flawless without more to thank now I tell you how was our day.

Como les dije anteriormente, nuestro trabajo comenzó y aún seguimos en una zona de riesgo por lo que nos enfocamos en personas mayores, niños y pacientes encamados. Comenzando la caminata nos conseguimos a un grupo de personas de las cuales tenían varios niños se les hizo varias preguntas y los niños estaban sanos solo le faltaban algunas vacunas, con las vacunas no pudimos hacer mucho sin embargo se les entrego desparasitante para toda la familia y crema para la piel ya que debido a las picaduras de zancudos y mosquitos algunos tenían picaduras infectadas, cerca del lugar donde estaban los niños visitamos a la cuál necesitaba el informe para ir aún especialista ya que tiene un prolapso y debe ser intervenida quirúrgicamente.
As I said before, our work began and we are still in a risk area so we focused on elderly people, children and bedridden patients. Beginning the walk we still got a group of people who had several children, we asked them several questions and the children were healthy, they only lacked some vaccines, with the vaccines we could not do much, however we gave them deworming for the whole family and skin cream because due to mosquito and mosquito bites some had infected bites, near the place where the children were we visited the one who needed the report to go to a specialist because she has a prolapse and must be operated on.

Mientras caminábamos nos llamaron de dos casas diferentes la primera señora nos informaba que tenía un problema respiratorio y nos preguntaba si la podíamos ayudar con un inhalador para su problema de asma, la señora corrió con la suerte que nos quedaban 2 y pudimos ayudarla con 1 ya que el otro estaba destinado para otra persona que también lo necesitaba. Otra persona nos pidió que si podíamos ver a una señora la cuál sufrió hace poco un ACV y cada vez que se tomaba la pastilla para la tensión se sentía mal por lo que debíamos enviarla a su médico especialista de cabecera para que él decidiera por cuál se le podía cambiar. En casos así preferimos referirla nuevamente a su especialista ya que ellos saben cómo tratar sus casos.
While we were walking we got a call from two different houses, the first lady informed us that she had a respiratory problem and asked us if we could help her with an inhaler for her asthma problem, the lady was lucky that we had 2 left and we could help her with 1 since the other one was destined for another person who also needed it. Another person asked us if we could see a lady who recently suffered a stroke and every time she took her blood pressure pill she felt sick, so we had to send her to her family doctor so that he could decide which one to change to. In cases like this we prefer to refer her back to her specialist as they know how to treat her cases.
Algunos caminos se nos hicieron bastante complicados por lo que aunque tuvimos dificultad pudimos cumplir objetivos de hacer las visitas, esas casas que están así lo único que les queda es esperar las ayudas de los entes reglamentarios para que puedan ser reubicados en otros lugares
Some roads were quite complicated, so although we had difficulty we were able to meet the objectives of making the visits, those houses that are like this the only thing left is to wait for help from the regulatory bodies so that they can be relocated to other places.
La señora que sale en la fotografía de arriba nos comenta que tiene obstrucción nasal debido el mal olor de las aguas negras por lo que pudimos ayudarla con gotas nasales, esto la ayuda a respirar mejor y bueno así podrá dormir mejor de noche ya que está comenta que le cuesta dormir debido a la dificultad para respirar. La otra señora queria que le tomaramos la tensión ella cuenta que se volvió hipertensa hace poco debido a la perdida de su esposa y ella está viviendo sola ya que sus hijos están fuera del país.
The lady in the picture above tells us that she has a blocked nose due to the bad smell of the sewage so we were able to help her with nose drops, this helps her to breathe better and she can sleep better at night as she says she has trouble sleeping due to the difficulty in breathing. The other lady wanted us to take her blood pressure, she says she became hypertensive recently due to the loss of her wife and she is living alone since her children are out of the country.
A pesar de las circunstancias amamos lo que hacemos y en una próxima publicación les contaré más sobre estás visitas, todavía faltaron personas pero nos faltó tiempo para visitarlas por lo que debimos dejarla para la próxima.
Despite the circumstances we love what we do and in a future post I will tell you more about these visits, we still missed some people but we didn't have time to visit them so we had to leave it for the next one.
