It is always great to have a break from mother duties. Last July 9, 2022, I had this opportunity to be away from my children for just a couple of hours. I was with other women in our church for a whole day activity at Bluewater Maribago, Lapu-lapu City Cebu, Philippines.
My husband needs to take a leave from work for him to be able to watch over our children while I was away. I left the house at 6 in the morning and reached the venue early. I was with the organizers of the said activity. They also told me I can bring my husband and my children with me to the resort too! But my husband needs to drive some of the youth of our church to another activity. He was tagging along our 3 girls. :D Which was fine with him though.
I took a selfie at the reception area while waiting for the other women to arrive.
The pool was not open yet when we arrived. So took a snap and headed to the beach area.
Since I was one of the early birds, I decided to take a dip on the sea together with other women while the sun's rays was not scorching hot yet. The program started at 9AM so we still have time to enjoy the water and also before the buffet lunch.

The other women started arriving, just before the start of the program. And so we need to stop our swimming sessions and join the rest of the women for the opening of the activity. The formal program was just short after that it was time to enjoy the sea water! Others went on island hopping and just made sure they come back for the lunch buffet.
Then it was time for lunch! There were a lot of guests at the resort that day by the way. Many have availed of the the day use with buffet lunch. Fifty women participants where expected for our group by the way.
This is the food I got. Sorry it is not well arranged LOL.
By the way, my children and husband arrived at the venue during lunch time. So I was not child-free from that time forward LOL. But it was fine, It turned out to be a family outing. :)
Children really loves to play in the water. So we let then enjoy the sea and the pool!
The important thing we all enjoyed the day swimming, bonding and the food!
These were just a few of the women during our activity. Some already left.
This event was all paid by our women leader. She said, it was a treat for all of us for being great in doing our individual assignments as women leaders in each of our areas.
