The scientific name of tomato is Solanum lycopersicum but this vegetable is commonly crushed for edible fruits. Ridge Gourd is commonly known in our country.But the scientific name of this vegetable is Luffa acutangula, in our country we know this vegetable as potato. But Solanum tuberosum plant which is above all underground modified stem rich in nitrogen. But this name is well known as scientific name.
