Hive donates its 8th borehole as a mother's day gift to a community in Ghana.

On Mother's Day 2023, the Chichibon community in Ghana received a valuable gift from the Hive Ecosystem project, which will not only improve their lives but also introduce them and other Ghanaians to web3 technology. The borehole project, sponsored by @valueplan, was successfully launched after weeks of construction. Additionally, the HiveGhana team distributed hive-branded books to children and provided free health screening services to the community, marking a significant milestone for the village.

The Hive borehole project in Ghana is a remarkable achievement for the Hive Ecosystem and surrounding communities. Before the project, the community relied on a nearby stream for water, which was often unsafe to drink and led to waterborne illnesses.
