Now I want to talk about my farm (pig).

I rear pigs . it's part of my work even as a student. My mom also helps a lot in the farm. So now, we all know pig or we've heard about it or we've eaten it(pork meat) ...

So! My sow was in her heat period and a male pig was brought to her so she could get pregnant, but we saw no sign of pregnancy. So my mom bought drugs so that the pig will be treated infection before it gets pregnant. Unfortunately ! Twas already a week pregnant and we didn't know, so the sow was injected, which caused an abortion.

The pregnancy lasted three months three weeks and three days, during pregnancy the sow needed plenty of feed high in nutrients during the pregnancy. She was given some feed high in nutrients. e.g grains and greenstuff everyday.

When the sow was ready to farrow it became restless and started to make a nest within 24hrs of giving birth.

But we didn't know twas time for it to put to birth. Because twas the first time we were going to experience that. Twas 12:35 when my mom heard the pig shouting , so she decided to go check after it , and she was always going from time to time to check on it.
So when she got to the sty , the sow has already put to birth. Twas complete 3months 3weeks and 3days . it birthed just one piglet . Thou I was so excited🥰
It has not started eating grains until after two months...

I started liking pigs because

their dump is a very good manure for planting.
My dad even uses it as fertilizer for his plants. He even used it as fertilizer for this Afang (wild spinach). Look at how good it grows.
