Afri-Inleo Initiative 15: My Love for Secular Music Is so Much

I always love the fact that the topics which are always dropped for us to ruminate on are really a top one and i give it to the brains behind this for their job well-done in the initiative weekly, So before going, I will like to greet everyone happy new week ahead and wish you all a great start of the week, Coming back to the topic which has been laid down for us which is picking a music over the other and both are Gospel music and Secular music. To me i always say that music is versatility and it is definitely done in different ways and also different style so the approach which one will do for a gospel music can actually be different to the ones which will be done to a secular music so even before going further for those that might be reading and might not know the meaning of those two, let go into defining them.

Gospel music is literally a Christian music which is actually done and also pen down to express worship and also praise which are focused on the bible and spiritual aspect and we have different type of gospel music which are classified as contemporaries, and are mostly played in the church or sacred gatherings, so for the Secular music, it is not a Christian music and the fact that it is secular made it a wide range and it is for entertaining people and all others so we have different genres in term of secular music which are the pop, rock, funk, reggae and so on which are used to preach love, tell stories, and all other things. So like I have said before, I love the music generally and for me as an instrumentalist, there is no song which i don't use to listen to but even at that one will have a favourite.

I always pick Secular music over gospel music actually and not picking the gospel does not mean you are not a Christian but the style of play which is so wide is always a factor for me, different styles are introduced everyday and even some of the style of play can be used in the gospel singing so in the aspect of singing i always pick the gospel but the aspect of the instrumentation i will always pick the secular music because when you listen to some of the secular music, been though the singers does not have a melodious voice but so far the instrumentation is very tight and makes a lot of sense there is no how, you will definitely love the song one way or the other, it might not be the first time but when that same pattern continue ringing in the head, you will definitely like it.

If not for he fact that it is sn initiative, i will definitely pick both because they are both great in their way and i really love it some time i just want to listen and hear the strings in the gospel song which is just to heal my spirit and mind an sometimes i just want to entertain myself so both do their work but the initiative will make me pick the Secular music.
