Coffee a tradition that my family keeps
Dear coffee lovers, I appreciate and join the @Cinncf initiative, responding to option # 3 New Year's Coffee Traditions:
The tradition of coffee in our family has been a fundamental pillar that unites us and gives us identity.Every year, when the new cycle approaches, we meet to share not only moments, but also the ritual of preparing and enjoying this drink that is much more than a simple infusion: it is an experience that evokes laughs, stories and the warmth of the home.
In my family at three in the afternoon, we have stopped to enjoy a good coffee. This time has become a connection symbol, a moment in which we put aside daily concerns and focus on the pleasure of sharing, the neighbors know it and also pass home at that time. However, the energy situation that we have recently faced in my country has altered this tradition a bit.Electricity, so essential for many of our devices and routines, is scarce at that time, forcing us to adapt and find alternatives.
Despite this challenge, our coffee passion has not diminished.Instead of discouraging, we have returned to more traditional methods of preparation. We have dusted the cloth of fabric, an utensil that evokes memories of past times, when simplicity and connection with nature were the norm. This return to the basics has made us appreciate even more the process of making coffee. From choosing the grains, grinding them and seeing how hot water filters through the strainer, creating a rich and aromatic infusion.
The field atmosphere, with its freshness and tranquility, has added a new flavor to our family tradition. When the sun begins to decline, the sounds of nature become the perfect backdrop for our conversations. In the midst of all this, we gathered and the patio, with the smell of fresh coffee wrapping the environment.
This tradition is not only an act of drinking coffee; It is a moment of celebration of family resilience, of adapting to circumstances without losing sight of what really matters. Each cup of coffee remembers the importance of the connection, the warmth of the home and the value of the traditions that define us.As this new year begins, we provide our cups in hand, accept the change and value what we have, reaffirming our promise to continue enjoying coffee, regardless of the challenges that may arise.Tradition continues and with it, the love we share as a family is strengthened, making every afternoon a celebration of life and union.

Coffee unites us in a universe of sensations. It is beautiful to see how they are not patterns imposed on the family, however the children are incorporating them into their lives like a morning drink.

Venezuelans are known for seeking solutions. Times of crisis have taught us to be resilient and to look for solutions of all kinds. There is no electricity, so we brew coffee the old-fashioned way, there is no gas, we use the electric stove with the Greca, but we continue to meet.
Para mí el café tiene propiedades mágicas. Un abrazo en medio de esta crisis que padecemos. Que el año que vamos a iniciar sea mejor, son mis deseos
What beautiful words of faith and hope for a new time you share with us today. Let being optimistic and looking to the horizon with fortitude be the motto for the new year. And toast with a delicious cup of coffee.☕
