Vladimir Putin - Pen Drawing

20240418_110956.jpg

Hello everyone!

Today, I want to share with you my new art work. It's a random portrait drawing of the current and long term Russian President, Vladimir Putin. He has been in the helm of leadership since 1999 till date as per prime Minister and President.

The portrait was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. This time, I tried to use cross hatching technique to build my forms. The image being used as reference for this drawing was obtained from here.

Below are my step-by-step processes:

Why should I? You can do that for yourself if that's a problem to you.
My blog is not about telling stories of war and crime but for art and drawing people. You can designate that to yours.
Have a nice day.

Just my opinion on such a topic. If i would draw a portrait of a dictator i would tell about the history or wars. But i dont draw these people until now. Dont see me doing that in the future but u never know. I just wanted to put a perspective to this post. Seeing much of love for this guy in the comments so i just wanted to add a diferent way of seeing him.

Okay, so why then did you say it is not right to remain silent? That's absurd.
It was your opinion to suggest that and it was also my opinion to stay silent. Moreover, I don't know much about the war and I don't want to delve into what I have no idea.

I personally don't like delving into disputes. You might see him as a dictator while others might see him as a strong man. If I should talk about him one side, people who are one the other side will definitely bring issues so I had rather abstain from such. Had it mean it were to be sports, I could consider doing that which I have done in the past.

However, if you have the strength, please do. I can't wait to read your thoughts.
Thank you.
