Inktober 2022: Day 7 - Trip

20221007_141735.jpg

Here is my new pen drawing. Following the prompt of inktober drawing challenge I continued my journey of completing the prompt.

This time, I decided to go traditional using my favorite medium which is ballpoint pen. The theme for day 7 is 'Trip' so I made a sketch of a boy who lay on the ground crying. He mistakenly stepped on a banana peel while in a haste thus, got tripped down and started crying.

This piece was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper using scribble style. See my steps below:

Don't be sad, dear. Just let your imaginative mind do the logic for you. Lol😆

I kinda like this because the character can kinda be who you want. Can be a girl, curly hair, dark hair, light hair, big eyes, little eyes, whatever. Or for inktober...could be scary. This mystery really brings it for the season.

This makes me think, what you should do is take like 4 days from inktober and pick a corner from a picture. They each cut off a portion of the picture, so when you put them together at the end, they make a single larger picture. That would be so interesting.

Wow, that's really a good idea. Or I can just photo grid four of them in a single piece.

Yeah, that's the idea. You assemble the 4 corners and they make a single piece that wasn't obvious from the individual pieces until you combine them. Could be cool.

Excellent interpretation for inktober. I wasn't thinking of this, so this surprised me. Love the cartoonish approach. Scribbles never cease to amaze.

Thanks for your kind word. What were you thinking then? Taking a trip to a fantasy world?
