African Woman - Digital Drawing
Here is my new art work.
It's an illustrative sketch of an African woman in a portrait form looking up.
My major focus in this piece was on her gaze and her headtire.She seems to be gazing at a particular spot or probably having an imaginary thought with merely looking.
I actually love how her headtire turned out as I introduced various colors to it. The dark background also helped the model stand out.
I first made my outline sketch, then I worded on the background. I used flash brush here to build before blending with a blending brush. Thereafter, I worked on the face before moving to her headtire and added some finishing touches with brighter colors.
The sketch was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. My steps are below:
