No bot modern update - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 28 Report Card
Heya Splinterlanders,
Finally, during last season we had big changes for Splinterlands game. The bots are banned in the modern league, it has happened in the middle of the season, so in my opinion, it wasn't the best time to implement so big change. But what can you do? just adopt. It wasn't the secret that for the ladder I usually used bots, and sometimes I was able even to hit leaderboard positions. We will see in the new season how the game will look like, but overall people are happy with that change. Let's see out season:

The last final days weren't easy, I was close to top 25, but overall I lost some matches vs very good players, and overall I drop quite low. I don't know if now it will be more difficult to get the high position, still, there is some issue with rating if you fighting with 200-300 lower rated player loss of ranking is just too big.

It was quite a heavy tournament season, I played quite a lot, performance wasn't maybe the best but overall it was not a bad season. I think I will limit entrance for the tournament when the max reward is 20 SPS. It's just not profitable to play them.

This sum is rising every season, sometimes I rented better cards to have more chances in brawls, I tried to join alpha gold tournaments, and rented some cards but overall forgot to sign up :) Life happens :)

SPS amount is average here, LP wasn't decreased, but now I claim it more often, not like before once per season, so the value is lower, I don't know why :)
The new season tells us a lot more about the direction where Splinterlands could go. Modern bot ban is huge, and it could have a big impact on the whole ecosystem. I'm in the middle of it, the human league is quite interesting, but still, I think the ladder should be redesigned. We will see what the future brings soon :)
