State of Land Market April 2024

About a year ago players were all looking at the front screen shot on odds in Praetoria land. The hope of getting one of the rarest land plots in keeps and castles were in the eyes of thousands.

Fast forward a year later and the distribution of claimed and surveyed plots is much clearer now. In fact some really numbers have been on display on Splintercards.com for some time.

I took the liberty to add up the total plots surveyed and realized that all keeps and castles have been taken.

In total currently 133,284 plot lands have been surveyed. That means the remaining plots which is close to 17k is less in value than being keep or castle. For those putting hundreds to thousands for unclaimed plots the reality has yet to set in or they are unaware of the current situation.

There is about 22 legendary plots and 11 mystics currently on the open market.

In all likelihood any higher in rarity for unclaimed plots beyond epic no longer exists. That means most likely all those unclaimed will remain unclaimed for a very long time as value of them drops and utilization of plots continue to remains steady. We are talking about over 10% of plots not even opened.

My opinion is the land market is shattered because the most prime real estate has been taken and what crumbs are left is way over priced. The drop in DEC is not helping but claimed land plots in general have been dropping in prices.

If pay attention to markets one could snatch a rare plot for under $20. Although reminder the region it is in is very important if one was to share resources.

All in all it’s hard to believe we can increase demand of the current land market without dramatic decrease in unclaimed plots. With close to 17k plots simply way over price as cheapest right now being $59 a unclaimed plot. Meanwhile cheapest plot has fallen to $17.

Until prices of land that has been claimed has flatlined or risen it will take more than just time and price to bring value up for unclaimed plots.
